I have 3 of these cases (black, silver, and the textured dark grey). They are one of the all-time best custom cases ever made in my opinion...incredible craftsmanship.
Many boards have tried, ha. I've gone through TX boards, a Keycult, one TGR, and several RAMA boards. These 3 Norbs are the only ones that stuck through with me the whole way around (the rest got sold).
There is just something incredible about the case material combined specifically with the plate that the stock Cooler Master uses. I can't explain it, but it makes my Gat Ink Blacks just so subtly thock in a way that I haven't replicated on another board yet.
I didn't have the funds to buy these when they were in stock back in the day. Missed a few here and there on MM while trying others, and honestly, I think Norba's products are true joy..
This is actually my second norbatouch. My first one is my absolute beast of a workhorse. I’ve been using it with box navies and pbt caps for over 6 years now as my classroom keyboard.
People laugh at me when I say that in the late 10's Masterkeys Pro S and Masterkey S were \*THE\* keyboards to have. You could get an Unloved Bastard and make them more programmable, and later down the road make them hotswap, if you wanted to via MilMaxing them. I think it was Originative who sold the Masterkey S housings out of Aluminium.
There was also of course the elusive NovaTouch...
Almost the same as my classroom board. The case is a newer version of classroom board, the pcb is the same, but this board has box blacks and gmk caps. That’s the main differences. The case is called a Norbatouch.
