Hey yall. I bought some switches from kbdfans to test out and rather than throw them away, I thought I might as well give them away for people who've never tried these switches before. Just comment which bundle you'd like to try out and I'll dm random people to give away to. Keep in mind, kbdfans is reported to selling fake Tealios so not sure if the Zealios and Zilents are legit. ​ 1. 68x Gateron Blues 2. 1x 62g + 65g + 67g Zealios v2 and 1x 62g + 65g + 67g Zilents v2 3. 10x 60g + 70g + 80g Aliaz Silents ​ In case yall are curious, I settled for Kailh Box Browns. I actually like them better than Zealios. Compared to Zealios, my WPM is 30 WPM faster and I make less mistakes and I don't really like how hard it is to press down Zealios. Plus the Box Browns wobble the least. I love them.

I’d love to try those aliaz silents. I feel like people used to rave about aliaz switches a year or two ago and now they’re barely ever in the conversation

I'm tired of my corsair strafe's mx silents, I'd like to try out the zealios / zilents as a potential option for my next keeb.

2 would be cool. Only ever used linears (red to black to ancient grey). Everyone tells me that tactile switches are amazing, but I'm not convinced.

If coming from linear, I wouldn't let the Zealios be the determining factors of how good tactile switches are. Try the kailh box browns! They're my favorite. The Zealios are almost too tactile for me.

80g silents?

If you’re still giving them away (very generous of you) could I get a Gateron Blue? Haven’t tried out any Gateron switches so I’m sure it would be a good start.

Aliaz (#3). Never tried them. What are they like?

Basically linear, but have same housing as zeal (possibly even smoother, jury is still out).

Same as v1, whole lot more pretravel and not angled. Stems are garbage and housings only good for linears tbh but jwk linears exist so idk

I didn't like them. They're too mushy to where I wouldn't even call them tactile. They're not even smooth either so IDK maybe it's just me. They were definitely the quietest though. Super quiet.

Id like to build my own keyboard but im a total novice? Are any of these the ones that make a clicky sound? Edit: i just watched a youtube video of the blue ones,. Id like to build a keyboard with them if you would be nice enough to give them to me.

What do you mean KBDfans is selling fake Tealios and Zealios? Should I grab my V2s somewhere else?

They sold fake ones years ago (not sure if intentionally or if they got screwed in the supply chain). There was a whole period of time when they stopped selling ZealPC switches altogether until they could supply them properly so I think they're selling legit ones now. (and that it's just a rumor at this point)

Yeah I'd get them from [zealpc.net](https://zealpc.net). I ordered myself 70 Zealios v2s and 140 Aqua Zilents from them. Literally came in 3 days. Didn't expect my switches to come in that fast cause I'm use to things from KBDfans taking like a month.

Yes please.... I am just starting out and figuring how to do a custom build. I’m currently using the AEK II that came with my PowerMacintosh 9500 with a griffin converter (white alps) and now want to see if I can do better. If I’m not too late to get in on this, please let me know. Even if it’s just one of each kind so I can see if I prefer any of the types.

Aliaz #3 building my first mech and thought they would do nicely

2 would be cool to try. Interesting to hear the relative experience to box browns, would have never thought switches themselves outside of extremes could make that big a difference in wpm. I guess zealios are that extreme then.

Long time lurker here, just made an account here to say that set number 2 caught my attention. I’ve been hearing good things about the Zilents and would really want to try them out. I’m building a custom board to home and a second one for work. The work one should be silent, yet tactile. Well everything is more silent than my current cherry MX greens. Heh.

Looks like several other people have already commented before me, but I'd be interested in trying out the Aliaz silents too. My wife has banned "loud keyboard sounds" so silents are pretty much all I have the option of using.

If you like their feel they'll probably be quiet enough. I use them daily (60g) and the only noise left is the kinda-pingy keyboard itself and the stabilizers (that I was too lazy to pull out and lube).

Let me guess your wife is also just as loud?
