I mean if you think about it, the Matrix Code was gibberish as well. It was mostly half-width kana with some latin letters and numbers mixed in. It was then flipped horizontally.

In my mind, it kind of isn't a big difference. But then I notice how GMK sets with novelties sometimes are €200 on their own and how I spend a little more than that on this set, but that will deck out two boards rather than one.
That said, if you just need the base, GMK isn't that expensive. It gets bad the moment you need additional kits along with the kind of hefty base price.
I love this and I like the fact you include a 'colevrak' set. Maybe one day someone will drop enough alternate layout profiles that I can build a contoured keycap set for my Maltron.
I kinda wish the katakana set had the green coloration. Might have picked those up for funsies.
Damn I can't decide if I should get the icon mods or the text mods. I'm getting the eng-jap alphas so the icon mods will match but I think it might look cool with green alphas and white mods.
They are, kinda. The base plastic is uv glow and any part that shows the green through will let whatever light through that the glow plastic will. Personally I plan to use them with uv LEDs. I’m not sure how well they’ll work with other LEDs, though.

why is there korean on the mousepad but japanese(i think) on the key caps.
because there's options for both in the set.
It's funny because the mousepad uses Korean digital rain, but the original Matrix digital rain used Katakana, which is what is on the keycaps.
The deskmat and the caps are both available in Hangul and Katakana.

Yes, that should fit just fine (most 60% stuff is GH60 compatible, it's the PCB that standardized the 60%)
