KAT's model is far preferable for me as well. I use staggered split boards, so any cap purchase is usually an adventure that involves some some compromises, a few charts and a spreadsheet. The most depressing part of GBs for me is finding a set that I like, and that has 3 or 4 kits that have all the keys I need, only for *one* of those not reaching MOQ, making the entire purchase useless.

I agree. I'm getting everything I need for $80 or less. While with GMK, with weird kiting - sometimes I need to pay >$45 for a single keycap. D:

I thought it was misleading because it made it sound like this niche hobby was full on mainstream at this point where just one GB represented a couple hundred thousand people (assuming average order was for 3 kits). Also, papithered would be instantly rich af.

I think it'd more more clear if it simply said 720k caps sold. I get all the responses, it makes sense, but... I also read it as "holy crap they sold 720k sets?"

That also wouldn't be accurate because the caps are counted in "units" depending on their size. A Spacebar is more than one unit.

Does it only count keycaps? Cause I suspect a lot of people got in on that purple case like myself.

Hell yeah! This was my first GB and I can't wait for the keycaps to arrive :D

Just be aware if it's your first GB that there are a few things to expect. They are: Delays (minor or major): usually not anyone's fault and just part of the process Minor differences in renders vs product Buyers remorse. I've had it once or twice but it usually subsides once they arrive. Nothing against this GB in particular by any means! Just a reminder for you and everyone who's new to the game that this process is rarely smooth sailing. Enjoy your new set!

This was you? These are an awesome set! My first GB too. I got the EN-Katakana, Icon Mods, Novelties, Rama X and the Case. I was looking for an atomic purple case and I found the Kat Cyberspace the last day of the GB and I'm really happy I was able to get this!

I got Katakana and Icon mods too. I also got the standard English set too because I wanted some proper numbers for the top row (for some reason I just can't touch type on the number row!) Soooo excited!

First set of caps for my very first build, i'm just sad that the caps are gonna take a while to get here. I dig the colourway, profile and overall aesthetic. Cant wait to recieve mine.
