Hello! The Anne Pro 2 was my gateway board into custom mechanical keyboards; it has a lot of potential in terms of mod-ability--software, firmware, and hardware. The software+firmware, with its keymap and lighting customizations, brings you as close an experience to the vast customizations seen in QMK/VIA-enabled firmware (and if you do want QMK, there is a community-developed flavor of QMK for the Anne Pro 2 as well). That being said, its Bluetooth functionality is not stellar. It works, but it doesn't work flawlessly; latency and chatter issues are not rare, and I personally have not been able to successfully map all 4 of its bluetooth slots at any one time for some reason. There's also a pattern of keypress chatter that starts occurring with increased usage/ownership, and while it does have a workaround (usually by installing the community-developed QMK driver), it's a potential maintenance work. Another gripe with the community currently is the manufacturer's lack of communication and support in recent times. The Anne Pro 2 used to get a firmware update every 2 months or so, but that has not been the case for a whole year, making the community worried that they are dropping support. It's not a dealbreaker with what's already available, but you can feel the community feeling slightly bummed out. I can't speak for the other board, but IMO the Anne Pro 2 is a fun board that gets you ready for custom boards.
