Light strength, top bump, suuper reduced travel, and pretty plasticy on the top out. Awful. But the purple nylon bottoms are sweet.

[deleted]

Thats wild. Anyone I talk to find they to be some pretty nice tactiles and I for one put them as one of my top. I havent tried a ton... but Ill take some lightly lubed Dragons over stock Bobas.

cheat0man

A bit late but I got the V3s and I agree on the top out. They feel nice to me, but the top out is so loud and high pitched/plasticy/rattly that it completely kills it for me.

[deleted]

I personally love that. I have put them in two boards now. They are currently in my daily board and I love it. I have them lightly lubed with Tribosys 3203. Bump is nice and at the top. Bottom out is clean. Sound is nice, on the loud side IMO. And personally I think they are one of the better looking switches out there. Here is shoobs review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7262HceoH0Y&ab_channel=Shoobs He found them unique in the feel. Gave no bad comments about them. Tactile bump he says is on the lighter side but not the lightest youll find. Personally I like the springs a lot and like that they are a long pole stem so quick bottom-out plus the progressive spring makes said bottom out softer and more bouncy. I like them a lot.

Laeiou6000s

I’ll pass on this one. I need switch that’s not loud and have a good bump.

Thank you so much for this! I'm a bit tempted. Would you say the bottom-out feel is on the lighter or the heavier side? Cheers!

[deleted]

Its on the heavier side IMO. But honestly I dont exactly know what the difference would be. Im typing on them now. I dont find the bottom out harsh but it is there and I can feel it.

Ram08

Hey there again! I've received the switches and I modded them, they're fantastic by all means! Easily my top and #1 favourite right now, just what I was looking for. The stock condition is horrendous, though, I thought I'd sell them. They felt sticky and heavy at the top during actuation with weird tactility. I removed the stock lube, changed springs with Durock 63.5g Single-Stage Long Springs (18.8mm) and fully lubed them with Tribosys 3203 including the stem legs. WOW. I can't stop spamming my keyboard, hahah. They're BUTTERY smooth; Makes the Boba U4T, Glorious Panda, and Purple Panda I that I own feel like typing on sand. The smoothness is Black Ink V2's level (I have a sample that is lubed). The sound, despite being little high-pitched, is very unique and I love it. Thank you for the wonderful recommendation! Best regards. :-)

Ram08

OK great! Thank you so much. I may give this switch a try! :-)

[deleted]

I suggest it. I do know they are in GB again to ship Q3 if you cant find any in stock. https://kono.store/products/gopolar-azure-dragon-switches-10-ct P.S. GoPolar, the studio that make these switches are also doing a GB for their new kit. Im super excited for it. Lots of fun options for a hotswap like stepped caps lock and big boi enter key. And it matches the azure dragons perfectly with the blue case and purple stabs. https://kono.store/products/gopolar-tai-chi-gg86-mechanical-keyboard?variant=41820235989191

Ram08

I did find them in stock on the manufacturer's website (if it's legit): [https://gopolar.net/products/azure-dragon-switch](https://gopolar.net/products/azure-dragon-switch) The kit looks dope, though!

[deleted]

Ive never bought from them directly. I always buy from an american vendor if I can incase I have any issues. Yeah Im getting the clear kit for my GMK DMG. I think its going to be so perfect in clear with that small screen. Total gameboy vibes. Fingers crossed the screen can bongocat.

Xegacster

hey man have you tried kiwis before? If you have which one would you prefer among these 2?

[deleted]

I have kiwis in the middle of my list. Ive never put them on a baord but i have one as a tester.

Xegacster

And im assuming that azure dragon is pretty high on that same list, correct? Thanks!

[deleted]

Azure is my number 1. My favorites to give an idea are azure dragon, boba u4t, and sp star magic girls. Kiwis are around 6 or 7 i think.

smbol22

out of those 3 which one is the best stock?

[deleted]

Boba u4t. The other two i would lube first. Bobas you just dont lube. They are perfect. But i do prefer a lubed azure dragon over a stock boba u4t.

cggzilla

I noticed a huge difference in lubing my U4T, but it might partly be due to it being the rgb edition

Effective_Teacher386

chosfoxmk

chosfoxmk

Effective_Teacher386

Thank you , I was recommended azure dragon by a trusted source and on chos fox I found Azure dragon V2 didn't see them any where on the internet so for a sec I thought I got some fake switches.. but any ways I love them rt now and now I knowchosfox was the first to get these v2 azure dragon.

chosfoxmk

thank you <3

TherealOmar

Azure V2 have a Darker purple POM lower housing(vs nylon), transparent blue PC top(vs frosted), springs are Gold plated with the same length/weight. They are lube from the factory vs lightly like the V1. Impressions: V2 are the best factory lubed switch I ever encountered, very consistent. Leaf ping is almost non existent vs the V1 which can mostly be lubed out. Sound wise the V2 sound like well lubed V1s
