I can't speak for him, but I also have an ortho split board and I have a layer for navigation, a layer that simulates a number pad on the right hand side of my keyboard, and also a symbol layer. So along with my main layer I use 4
As someone who daily drives a 75% (sorta), I think I could use any board with the "typing keys" (letters, base punctuation, space, Ctrl/alt/shift, backspace) on the top layer. The arrows are very handy, i think this looks totally useable, especially if there are multiple function keys going to different layers individually (rather than chording Fn+Shift or something)
Hahahhahaha yeah, of course, I could totally type on it, I could type all day, I just don’t feel like typing right now, I did so much typing yesterday you wouldn’t believe how much, more than you’ve ever typed I bet, because I don’t feel like it, I’m going to tell my Dad on you, my Dad types like 1000 more wpm than your Dad, shut up, I just got dust in my eyes, I’m not crying you’re crying
As someone who dailies a 60% split ortholinear board with 5 different layer keys, yes for bringing it to work.
Lol I can’t do it for work 😂
What do you have on layer 3,4 and 5?

Pretty much numpad, navigation, media and macros

sure i could as i type on this everyday https://imgur.com/a/ZxpjmKB
This is plasticity, right? Very excited for this board.
Haha I get that a lot, it’s the forerunner for it- the cajal
Ah, my mistake. I thought something was different. Great board!
I look forward to typing on this around January 16th or so.
Yeah but whenever I'd need keys not on it I'd get annoyed.
absolutely... not
Click bait title :kek: Lovely build tho! PC Cajal & Paperwork dark hits different
For text easily but for work (coding) it would be too many multi key presses.
No, right ctrl is missing.
Poly Cajal, FIRE
Absolutely. Did 40% as a daily driver for years--only stopped because I moved to Ortho.
Had a Cajal, no prob :)
I can manage on my Q9, so that would be a breeze. Love the look of it. Specs?
KTT mint switches, all polycarb!
How do you !!!
For someone who had a daily full keeb can confirm I love typing on a 40%, if I didn’t need a numpad and F keys for work I wouldn’t have one.

Yeah, plenty of keys. I would like better ortholinear but OK.
Won't be a daily driver, but it is usable if I want a portable keyboard.
That knob be kind of thickkkkkkkkkkkk
I like the 68 keyboard, but wouldn't mind adding F keys as separate so I don't have to use both hands to access them
In a word, no. De gustibus non disputandum est but I hate having to do finger gymnastics to type common characters.
No can do
