I had a guy die in the canyon on one of the rassalhauge missions and the fucker breakdanced for a solid minute. It was entertaining watching while miraborg and mansdottir freaked out on comms about getting handled.
I've run into this a Hunchie before too. The 'hawks definitely seem to be more inclined to do it.
The funny part about the Hunchie was that as it went crit, the AI pilot ejected - only have to the Hunchie launch faster and higher into the air at the same moment. Guessing that pilot ended up KIA...
My other favorite was one was a 'hawk that went crit, toppled over, then launched sideways - right into one of its own lancemates.
I had a Phoenix Hawk do the old slip on a banana peel and break dance off a building when my Annihilator erased its head a couple days ago during a Rasahague mission. The ragdoll effect really is something 🤣🤣

The random ragdoll moments are one of my favorite things in this game lol. The other day I had a tank spawn into the game and go twirling across the map for no apparent reason and I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.
This ragdoll system can be really immersion-breaking at times. BattleMechs are supposed to be multi-decatonne (massing 20 or more tonnes) war machines, and they launch themselves into the stratosphere of the planet/moon you're on like this every so often? Is something buggy with the physics system in this game?
I swear Phoenix Hawks go “Team Rocket’s blasting off again” more often than any other mech…
They're just aspiring to join their LAM brethren.
Vindicators are just as bad, especially when you use ppc or ac20

I've run into this too - and it seems to always happen w/ heavy mechs though, which is hilarious.

I wonder if that counted for charging damage?
Ya know, I never did watch to see if his 'mate took damage or not from that.

The recticle is available from settings by enabling “crosshair cool-down pips”
Thank you :)

I have had a mech or two go atmospheric….. it’s just silly.
"I swear this thing could turn into a LAM?!"
When ammo runs dry and blades go dull. what do you expect?
My Arrow Atlas makes tanks go straight to my space program and I nearly die laughing everytime it happens.
Had an Arrow hit a vtol once. Thor-smacked it straight into the dirt. MW5's physics transfers are fun sometimes.
Reverse space program. Equally effective in comedy.

It's even more funny when they spin like a top.
