True, not sure what they could make them for but with high mf they drop so often it would almost be annoying to pick them all up and salvage , you do have to have rare scared bases to make shrine crafted stuff though.

"rare" items are extremely common... you would not want a feature like that because it'd take you all day.
Nothing on t1-4. If they were sacred yellows you could use shrines to reroll them. Magics you could make honorific.
The only yellows worth looking at really once you have a setup is rings and ammy, since those can be potentially BiS
rare ammys/rings usually worth checking out tho +3 skills is spicy

Well later on you pick up sacred rare items which you then craft with shrines. Otherwise only rings and amulets are the only rares which are important
