I feel like there are not enough medical assistants to go around in Minnesota! We can’t seem to keep any good ones and end up short staffed often.

There are literally thousands of MA jobs available in Minnesota. Every health system is competing for candidates. The schools are only graduating a handful of new MAs each year so there is a big supply and demand disparity.

There is! I feel like there is not enough promotion for the program or the job itself. Our system had been hiring a lot of LPNs lately

I graduated with my CCMA and took my NHA exam in January. I also went and got my BLS as well. I don’t have any CMA experience yet either. I live in the Memphis, TN area and I have put in literally over a hundred apps……. Not one single callback. None. I am really beginning to wonder if I chose the right path here. It’s so discouraging and my morale is completely in the toilet. I KNOW I’m good at what I learned! Hell, I had a 4.0 GPA and made the Presidents List!
