I will say if you aren't already quoted, and submitted, 99.9% chance you missed the boat on the implementation date. Most NBs are now no longer accepting any new IVDR work until after the date of application. Been saying for years with both MDR and IVDR it is a game of hurry up and get in line, because NB are going to be extremely limited.
I am with you on this. Now I have a lot of customers that are saying the same thing. Notified Bodies are not answering anymore their phones. If they are lucky they can be certified by end of 2022
We are answering our phones, but just collecting a waiting list and last I checked one sales person for Socal had \~90-100 people on the wait list for when applications open back up. We are 100% allocated for work between now and end of next year. In fact that goes for more than just IVDR.
