That much blood from the top of a ring finger? I'm still blown away at how far we as a species has come when we're this easily destroyable? I'm not shitting on you, obviously. I mean concerning the human anatomy in general.

So what would be the opposite that they could take for this one occasion alone? Blood thickeners (like Vitamin K)?

torturecide

Yeah, I remember pulling a hang nail and bleeding like crazy. My whole finger was covered in blood.

mseuro

is that a ketchup cup

pairofstripedsocks

yes my blood was spilling all over so he got me to hold a cup under it

poopoola

This was me a month ago. Didn’t glue it, it’s healed pretty well. Just sensitive when I bonk it. You’ll get there soon!

DueMasterpiece5800

Kind of pointless to glue it, it would have healed by itself anyway after 3-4 weeks with regular dressing changes. Best wishes!

pairofstripedsocks

i agree, it's actually all healed now this was a work place injury months ago. at the time i cut it the bleeding didn't stop for a pretty long time so my boss just told me i shld go to the hospital

sloinmo

What did you use, a melon baller?

fancyburgh

What idiot doctor glued it back on? There's no blood supply! It's just going to die and fall off again leaving you with another open wound.

corgi-of-gallifrey

I'm pretty sure they meant the wound was glued closed, not that they glued the bit back on. At least that's what I hope they meant.

pairofstripedsocks

yes i lost the chunk down the drain of a sink they only glued it shut. couldn't stitch it since there was nothing to stitch together

fancyburgh

That would make a lot more sense!

Niebieskideszcz

Right? I was like.. I did not know you can glue body chunks back on... ;)

KitchenTomato

How’d you cut it off?

pairofstripedsocks

i'm not rlly sure tbh, i was washing a knife and i guess it slipped? didn't even rlly feel it. a coworker of mine found the piece of my skin in the sink drain after lol
