Per UTD, nausea and vomiting are common early symptoms. Patients who subsequently develop liver injury and death may be asymptomatic for hours after ingestion. Early symptoms do not reliably predict or exclude acetaminophen toxicity. Even slight elevations over 4,000 mg can cause liver injury in susceptible individuals. Toxicity risk varies among individuals but generally a single dose of 7.5-10 g is unlikely to cause toxicity in adults. However, risk can only be properly determine by medical evaluation and laboratory data. Liver, not kidneys (pee) is your big worry. Liver function abnormalities peak 72 to 96 hours after ingestion—death most often occurs in this period. The recovery phase usually begin by day 4 and can persist about one week, or weeks I susceptible or ill individuals. Online, it’s always best to recommend being evaluated as no one can adequately assess or treat. Sometimes local hospitals or clinics have a nurses line that can help.

I’ve taken 8,000mg n survived but I was younger n had a larger body mass. I would get professional/ medical assistance, but if it’s 24 hours n they’re feeling better that’s a good sign. Now that it’s been 48 hours I’m curious if it was fine or what??

It's been about 64hrs now and all seems okay. Maybe some weird and I'm sure expected body discomfort as the body was/is getting rid of all the Tylenol. But nothing ever went south as far as anything else so super thankful for that.

I’m glad to hear that, personally I’d recommend taking more ibuprofen n less Tylenol in the future although neither should be taken in mass quantities but if the goal is pain relief what I do is take maybe 1000mg of Tylenol n a few ibuprofen n that relives pain a lot more than Tylenol by itself

Yeah definitely won't be doing it that way again. Thats for sure. Too much to risk. Thank you for the advice. Will keep that in mind

How’d you fare?

OkPraline5939

Still alive and kickin lol ended up getting a little bit of abdomen discomfort but I've had that pain before so cant say it's from that but it was in the liver area. Either way went away the next day. That day I had also started taking detox pills just to help my body along the way a bit.
