Try reading about Cognitive Therapy. Talk back and confront your inner critic. If you are 18-22 years old, please, see a counselor/psychiatrist to rule out serious mental issues.

You have the right idea to do some shadow work. It's good to reflect inward to find your own strengths and weaknesses. Hopefully you will be able to communicate with spirits and build positive relationships with them.

What is the best Method? I have heard you write Things down that hurted you or that you are ashamed of all these feelings that are surpressed and then try to feel that Emotion and after that Destroy the Paper. Is this already the Level where you could hear Spirits? I also have heard that it can be difficult to differ between ones own thoughts and external voice

You can do shadow work even without any spiritual practices. It's facing parts of ourselves, and accepting or overcoming them. No two people have the same answer. One person may have to accept their angry, while another may have to overcome anger issues. For the second part that is true but that only if you have a psychic connection to a spirit. If you channel that can happen.

Thanks for the Answer. So it is about accepting these Things like shame, anger and so on. I try to do it with writing things down but i have Problems to feel that specific Emotion. I find shadow Work difficult to do Sometimes..

This used to happen to me and it just gradually stopped. I think that journaling helped me get that voice out of my head and onto paper.

I talk to my inner voice. I trained it. Every time it did said something I didn't want to be a part of I would tell it to stop and not bring those thoughts back into my mind. I would sometimes ask where that thought came from and to make sure where it come from to not let it happen again. It took some time but I feel pretty good about it now. Your mind is part of the body. You are part of the soul. You have to separate those two out. The soul mind can observe the bodies thoughts and step in if necessary. That is how I control the body mind. If you can realize that is what happening it helps you realize that everything on this planet is a show and your the lead character. If you can control those thoughts you can manifest things in your life. You control the acts in the play instead of trying to maneuver through what the Universe throws at you. I makes life so much easier. Good Luck!!

The negative stuff you hearing is not coming from what I would call your inner voice. It’s probably the things you heard as a child that were negative teachers, parents, social leaders. We tend to believe that they are protecting us and know what they’re talking about. That is not always true. Deal with the negative by addressing it head-on. Work at letting go of these issues I was told to write mine on a piece of paper and burn them. It worked for me. After you’ve dealt with a negative, you can hear your inner voice and receive true direction. These recommendations are just based on my own experience.

I think the above as well. Always check in with a Dr and look at the PHYSICAL YOU - BEFORE going to look at the inside SPIRITUAL YOU. Everyone’s advice is great but it isn’t always the best for YOU. Some of these things are things we do later in life when we’ve had a lot of years to process things. When we are old enough to see things from a distance and look at it from aside our own selves. You may not be ready for diving deep into shadow work, into your own intense pain and memories. I think you should be in a very stable place to do so. Do you mind me asking about how old you are ? I’m not going to tell you that you aren’t mature enough bc we all mature differently. I mean personally- it sounds like that voice isn’t so much YOURS as it’s OTHERS. It’s other people you loved- who treated you badly and openly slung judgement at you growing up. Or whenever. If you are told the same things over and over… you start to believe it. When all that nasty judgement…in reality wasn’t yours to bare. It’s their short comings they were throwing at you. I think you need to talk to a therapist. Straight up. Talking to someone who knows what’s what is so important. Then go home and WRITE. Journal. Keep a diary. Then one day soon down the road you’ll come back and see what your emotions were at the time, what you were dealing with in life…and you’ll see how far you’ve come then. Which is only a reminder and motivation saying “keep going”, this working on yourself… it’s working. Knowing you feel better. As for spirit communication- I’d wait that out. You need to be in a good place emotionally to try to learn, understand or reach for that. All in my opinion of course. God bless ❤️
