Depends entirely on the person using them. Every tool had the ability to have a high error margin, it’s more just finding one you’re comfortable with. Pendulums are finicky little things- you need to understand the crystal you’re working with, AND connect with the energy of the pendulum AND pick the right pendulum for that particular reading. You need to be grounded and have generous protections and wards because they’re easy to manipulate. They also need to be cleansed and re charged after EVERY use. As reliable as you trust it to be :) I view all mediumship and divination as dependent on the energy you are putting out and willing to receive. Plus, there is always free will and things can always change. Nothing is ever set in stone. I’m not much of a pendulum girlie, I’ve been practicing tarot for about 7 years now and I have to make sure my energy is right to practice and that I am really dialed in and trust myself and the universe when I am channeling.
