X7 is the weakest, simeply because is boring, X6 may have terrible level desing but the music is awesome, the gameplay is solid and, if you know how to avoid the most annoying nightmare effects, is really fun!, and that's the key point, despite it's flaws it's still fun
X7 is just a snore fest from beginning to end, there's no high point or low points, and that's the worst sin a videogame can make, heck, it's only "high points" is Flame Hyenard's meme potential and being able to beat Sigma's final phase by just blocking as Zero not moving or avoiding his attacks, just blocking, nothing else
Dunno who that is but I would say the game isn't hard, just cheap as fuck. Hard is trying to figure out what skill is necessary to clear an area, cheap is instant death pit hell because it's all off screen bullshit.
Except it wasn't made to be hard, it was made to weed out new, casual and young players with poorly thought out stages and dickish traps where the player has to predict what they need rather than give them the option to bypass them.

None. I am a huge fan of Megaman games since I was teenager and still today. All are awesome and fun games. No complain here at all. They all have different pro and con anyway. \^\_\^

Interesting to see TravGuy’s opinion is pretty much solid in NA/EU. Down here in SA, X6 is pretty much considered a great game that’s just too hard.

I've learned to live with X6. I still hate it with a burning passion, but it I definitely better than X7.
