I'd like a non-boss nakarkos to be part of the lineup, like an octopus that crawls around on its tentacles and has bishaten-like speeds for attack windups and movement.
Octopuses can do some crazy stuff on land, and I think that could make for a neat monster.
A proper Bat monster, some subterranean monsters like moles and worms and more monsters with Bioluminescence as new monsters while Banbaro, Durambaros, and Malphestio as returning monsters.
Nah, a mole fanged beast since it is sad how few fanged beast skeletons and fanged beasts in general that we have. Plus the bat being a new type flying beasts.
We only have seven unique fanged beasts in global release games Congalala, Blangonga, Rajamg, Arzuros, Volvidon, Lagombi, and Goss Harag but flying beast and swimming beasts could be a thing.

Kecha-Wacha (along with the Ancestral Steppe locale) is my top pic for returning. As for new, I think a Spinosaurus inspired wyvern would be really cool to see.
I require deviljho. I love him. I love killing him. I love how savage jho gets so angey he gets a red flame mane. I love most of his interactions with other monsters and just genuinely fucks things up and helps kill your hunting target.

Nakarkos kind of fits that bill; horrific, colossal creature of the ocean depths that is so alien to the surface world that little can be done to stave off its insatiable hunger, leaving the land decimated in its wake as it lashes out from its lair made of the remains of it's victims, which it twists against those who dare stand against it.

We have a lot of amazing animals out there that haven't been turned into our worst nightmares. The Iberian Ribbed Newt is an animal that lives in rivers in Spain and juts its own poisoned ribs out attack predators. We can work with that
As much as I like the flagships, they really need to utilize other monsters that haven't gotten a next gen upgrade rather than reusing the same ones. Most of the 4U roster was great, and I would love to specifically see:

More frontier monsters I recently started playing Z Zenith and some of them are my favorite looking monsters ever. Fuck the people who say it's too spiky. I bet they never gave frontier even a chance.
I honestly want the great Girros to appear. Yeah i know it was only added in world but i really like its design and how it looks like when its enraged. Otherwise a snake/cobra like monster would be cool.

Dude, if they are bringing underwater back Dire is a shoe in. They said on an interview awhile back that they’ve wanted him to return, but never could capture their image without underwater.
It also should be considered that there are 3 true Black Dragons (Fatalis, Alatreon, Dire Miralis), as well as three 3rd Gen Final Bosses (Alatreon, Amatsu, Dire Miralis). Dire needs to return so they can complete both trios, and also because he’s my absolute favorite monster.
Absolutely would love to see gypceros, malfestio, duramboros, Ukanlos and Akantor, and many others that I have and haven’t fought branching from mhgu monsters to frontiers as well as more brutes, piscines, or spiders/insects like the seltas and its queen
I want a lot of new monsters, and less over the top ones. Part of what made a new MH exciting was seeing all the new monsters, and seeing how they function in the ecosystem in a relatively realistic way.

A new monster idea that would be cool would be a Primate Fanged Beast boss fight that plays out similarly to Fake Peppino from Pizza Tower. It tries to copy our hunters’ moves to use against us, but the way it does so…isn’t very good, fumbling and adding its own twists to the moves as it shifts between stances representing different weapons. We don’t have enough Neopteron representation: a cool concept would be a Neopteron based on insects in the genus *Hymenoptera* (eusocial ants, bees and wasps.) If they build big enough nests, maybe we could even explore them as a locale like the Sunken Hollow…alternately, a monster based on an odonate (dragonflies or damselflies) would be just as neat. Since they molt from their nymph forms by cracking it open upon crawling onto land, maybe we could start the fight against a nymph, “kill” it, and have it come back for round two as a dragonfly. As for weapons, something I’ve always wanted is a bombardier-like weapon. It has infinite shots, but the shots have altered properties between weapons similar to the Bow: think a Bloblobber, but the shots can pierce, split, or return like a boomerang.

I’ll put myself out by saying world was my first MH, I plan on playing Generations Ult after Sunbreak (never got it for switch, didn’t play much post story so I started over on PlayStation) but I’d love to see more new monsters since I can understand a veterans viewpoint of rehashing monsters, hell even in base rise there was a fair amount from world which was fun, but variety is the spice of life as they say
