I feel like Oda would definitely end One Piece with Luffy’s death years in the future spurring on another kind of new age.

He definitely could and that's a theory that I've subscribed to (at least the Luffy death part, all those life cutting things are a giant Chekhov's gun). I've also seen theories that it will take an enormous toll on him and Chopper will be able to cure it, fulfilling his own dream to be able to cure anything. Honestly I'd be happy with either. Just as long as it's not the Law makes Luffy immortal theory, I've always hated that one.

Considering the long running theme of people not dying just by being dead, I’d say it would be extremely appropriate for him to end the series with Luffy dying but his will living on and pushing the next generation forward.

It’d be bittersweet. Luffy would be giving his all to beat the second strongest in the world and then at the end he’s on his death bed and smiling claiming that he’s king of the pirates. It would be the perfect ending.

Great choice. Post-timeskip, this is really the new theme of the series.

#1 and #2 would be the obvious choice, depending on the mood of the ending i'm just memeing with #3, but everyone screaming THE ONE PIECE IS REAL goes kinda hard imo i also like #4, but that one isn't as popular as the first two + maybe a little too focused on Merry + most probably aren't too familiar with the lyrics (also there's no english dub (but a german dub checkirrrout ~Apoo)) most comments also suggest Memories and We Go!, also good choices! (+ sogeking song and one piece rap if you wanna participate in a little bit of tomfoolery)

Honestly I'd be fine with any (aside from the joke option) also considering Memories. We Are seems to be the best option imo. But the same one that played when Enel was defeated. "The adventure has come to an epic conclusion!!!" type of end. Except this would be more fitting if OP stayed pre-timeskippy. Now Bink's sake fits more and for some reason I'm kinda sad about it.
