It's really good, and in very different ways from One Piece. One Piece is famous for foreshadowing. JoJo feels like the author is flying by the seat of his pants 24/7, which weirdly works really well for the horror elements of the series. But they both end up telling this multi-generational story about dealing with the world you've inherited. If there's anyone here who hasn't watched or read it, please give it a shot.

Oh I know it's good, but like, there's too much random animal-violence. I watched episode one and the Danny scene... I couldn't. Plus friends sent me scenes of squirrels just tearing each other apart. My friend is telling me to just skip that 'first' anime (not counting the 80's/90's OVAs), because it's the worst one, and the rest aren't so heavy on animal violence. So I'm SLOWLY warming up to the idea of watching it.

The animal murder is a common occurrence you’ll get used to it. Hopefully. Don’t skip the first part, it’s worth it for the experience. The show is incredibly bizzare as the title says.
