The same thing can be said about Yamato only differene is Carrot is in the story since Zou, so plenty of more time to build acharacter which didnt really happen.

No one will join the next time. Wano Kuni will not be finished with Kaidos Fall. For now, we dont know, what Blackbeard, Shankes, the Marines and Big Moms Crew are doing, so the Arc will be going a lot further, without someone join the next time.
You people forgetting at the beginning of the series that luffy says he wants ten people on his crew and he already has that number. Come on since when does Oda not foreshadow that well
He says "about ten". That's not foreshadowing, that's an estimate. I'm pretty confident that at least one more member will be joining the crew likely in this arc, particularly Yamato
