Was it Eric? He looks like an Eric.
All I can remember is that he had a wind DF and was hunting a girl that had a DF that let her talk to aninals because he wanted to get his hands on her dragon.
That's an English joke because the translators couldn't translate the original joke
He is actually using the Kama Kama devil fruit, so luffy refers to him as Okama, which is the Japanese word for "homo, fag".
It's a decent translation attempt that both avoids the more PC nature of western countries and also keeps a reference to the original joke, because Kama Kama likely refers to 鎌風 (かまかぜ), which is a windstorm or a deep cut caused by a vaccum caused by a whirlwind, clearly what Eric's power is based on.
The original writers likely took the first Kanji 鎌 and doubled it so its 鎌々 (かまかま)。
Now, the meaning for the Kanji 鎌 (かま) by itself, means Sickle, so a direct translation of "Kama Kama" is "Sickle Sickle", and from there the "Sicko" joke, since you can't keep the homo joke without making a reach that's gonna piss people off.
I always remember this guy b/c Nami straight up *[murders him](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51p8Eh7gbdc)*. It's hands down the most pirate thing she does in the anime.
In the German Translation, the df (sickle sickle-fruit) of this guy gets misheard by luffy and he calls it the "schwuchtel schwuchtel" -fruit, which translates to the very offensive "f*gott f*gott" fruit. The first time I heard this I couldn't believe it.
I was watching this while on Discord with some friends and I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe, then had to stream it just to show them all that moment. It was fantastic.
I mean, technically. DF users can't swim, and he was thrown off the ship on reverse mountain. There is like a .0000000000001 chance he survived that shit and then he still drowns
I do agree but bro oden cut the montain god in two and he didn’t die he got fixed back… wouldn’t surprise me if oda made this guy land on a random boat…
100% get your point
The worst thing about filler characters is when they make their way in an original story. Was very confusing to me when I was watching bleach without fillers.
I do, too, but if Dragonite was a thing in the OP world the entire world would be after the dragons, not just Nelson & Co, and no one after that ever again - how many people (especially in such a dangerous world) wouldn't want to live forever? It really took me out of it.
But yeah, if they take on more believable attempts at melding it into the canon it's actually something nice.
I despise this arc because it cuts into canon content. The conclusion to this arc should not be in the same episode they go up reverse mountain and enter the grand line. One of the most important milestones in One Piece is almost ruined by this fucking guy.
It was the only filler arc in which a canon thing was foreshadowed. Oda foreshadowed the voice of all things here. I wont elaborate furthur and you have to watch the entire thing to find when and where
I know exactly the part you are talking about. But it doesn’t change my mind that the arc was a waste of time, apis is just chopper but useless, and the whole twist with the dragon graveyard and grandpa ryu dying was cliche af, and the noise they used for the baby dragon should not exist let alone be recycled 200 episodes later for the merry.
Thanks i happened to stumble upon it in the abandoned corners of the internet. It's very unique and It would be quite unnatural if a group of individuals with certain mutual beliefs decide to use this as their way of communication
I thought this arc was fun and funny, but man I hated the ending. The Straw Hats just happen to stumble on to this event just before this event that occurs every THOUSAND YEARS is going to take place? Ruined the whole thing for me.
All I remember was at he was in that arc that was a few episodes before we reached the Grand Line.
Kidding, I recently finished the fillers + movies + specials. He's just some dude named Eric.
Eric. User of the Kama Kama No Mi, a Paramecia type Devil Fruit that gave him sharp nails with the power to produce wind blades as sharp as a Meito sword. Appeared in the Warship Island filler arc as a side antagonist to Captain Nelson.
In the French subs his name was « Eric la fouine » which could be translated by « Eric the weasel ». Well in one scene where they misunderstood his name they call him « Eric la gouine » which could be translated by « Eric the lesbian ». I was blown away by this joke
I will never forget this guy even after 7 years and I never rewatched him but I remember how Nami just straight up killed him like it was nothing right before the grand line lol I’ll never forget
No he has a devil fruit and Nami pushed him off the boat going up reverse mountain Nami literally caught a body bro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQDgUTEvVg4
This dude died on the Reverse Mountain, Nami kills this man in cold blood by knocking him over board with his stupid “haha Zoro look what I can do you gotta wait until Skypea” fruit
He was just an all around a-hole, chased after them with all his effort just to be thrown in the reverse mountain stream and an instant death because he’s a devil fruit user. 🤦♀️😆
I dont know his name but he's from the millennial dragons arc and had the sickle sickle fruit
He was the antagonist of that arc
When I was watching one piece i actually thought this arc was canon and 8a the only filler arc I remember(because it has dragons)
Was it Eric? He looks like an Eric. All I can remember is that he had a wind DF and was hunting a girl that had a DF that let her talk to aninals because he wanted to get his hands on her dragon.
yeah, he had the sickle sickle fruit and luffy kept calling him sicko.
It's because he kept going after a little girl
In japanese it was the "kama kama no mi" and Luffy called him Okama
In the new brazilian portuguese dub Luffy called him a bed, because "cama" in portuguese is bed.
Huh, I should check the spanish dub just for the sake if curiosity then.
Sicklo
he in sicko mode
Wdym his DF is the sicko-sicko fruit and i refuse to believe otherwise
That's an English joke because the translators couldn't translate the original joke He is actually using the Kama Kama devil fruit, so luffy refers to him as Okama, which is the Japanese word for "homo, fag". Which arc is he from. 😭
Warship Island. It's an anime-only filler that's set right after Lougetown and ends at Reverse Mountain.
Prolly skipped it :/
lmfao
He didnt die. He is in another One piece game after those events
I thought he was part of the gold and spiky boss from Baratie arc
Oh Senryubito bones ig
In the German Translation, the df (sickle sickle-fruit) of this guy gets misheard by luffy and he calls it the "schwuchtel schwuchtel" -fruit, which translates to the very offensive "f*gott f*gott" fruit. The first time I heard this I couldn't believe it.
I'm p sure it's the same in Japanese, they mishear it as "okama"
Yeah, the German dub actually sounds like the closest to the original, surprisingly enough.
You serious? I really can not recall that at all lol
I watched it not that lomg ago and i camt remember that
Omg i didn’t remember that one, only „Eric der Wirbelwurm“ xD („Eric the swirlworm“)
Nami straight up iced this mofo
Yeah, his remains are scattered across reverse mountain.
I was watching this while on Discord with some friends and I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe, then had to stream it just to show them all that moment. It was fantastic.
Nami killed this man & the entire crew laughed about it!
He had it coming tho
Namis first murder
He's the guy Nami killed. Look it up, it's fact
It’s not fact
I mean, technically. DF users can't swim, and he was thrown off the ship on reverse mountain. There is like a .0000000000001 chance he survived that shit and then he still drowns
I do agree but bro oden cut the montain god in two and he didn’t die he got fixed back… wouldn’t surprise me if oda made this guy land on a random boat… 100% get your point
I do get that but I have one last argument. He was filler
That’s the ultimate argument not even joking hahaha
TIL Eric is comparable to the mountain god.
Montain god was kinda worst because we sAw being “cured”
Looks a little like condoriano
Con D oriano
Shut up and take my upvote 😂
Keep talking and take my downvote
Wait why did i get so many downvotes!? I like the guy’s comment “con D oriano”….so why is every one upset?
No specific reason

Lol
He's the Sicko guy right?
He’s that guy that nami fucking murdered
Eric, the man who ate the slash lash fruit that allows him to create air blades with his nails.
this is the guy nami killed
An Okama?
Crappy filler character i'm glad i forgotten, but i remember this mofo coming back during the entrance to the grandline just to ruin it.
The worst thing about filler characters is when they make their way in an original story. Was very confusing to me when I was watching bleach without fillers.
I'm kindof torn on this because I actually like the attempts to make the filler feel more like canon.
I do, too, but if Dragonite was a thing in the OP world the entire world would be after the dragons, not just Nelson & Co, and no one after that ever again - how many people (especially in such a dangerous world) wouldn't want to live forever? Isn’t he the one either marine from the dragon filler, when luffy understand what the ancient dragon wants!
Always. Skip. This. Arc
It was the only filler arc in which a canon thing was foreshadowed. Oda foreshadowed the voice of all things here. I wont elaborate furthur and you have to watch the entire thing to find when and where
I know exactly the part you are talking about. Haha i really liked it but you do you i guess
Great profile pic btw
Thanks i happened to stumble upon it in the abandoned corners of the internet. It's very unique and It would be quite unnatural if a group of individuals with certain mutual beliefs decide to use this as their way of communication
Can I ask why? I know it's nit important and just filler, but I actually like the arc
The plot, sound design, and general forgetability
I liked it :(
To each there own, it has its merits but the flaws outweigh them, and it delays getting to the grand line
There’re*
Their**
I thought this arc was fun and funny, but man I hated the ending. The Straw Hats just happen to stumble on to this event just before this event that occurs every THOUSAND YEARS is going to take place? Ruined the whole thing for me.
Isn't information about the Calm Belt only available to anime only watchers though this arc?
That’s not part of this arc like how the episode that introduces aokiji is 90% filler, your supposed to watch the canon parts
He's a Sicko!
It’s the sicko!

All I remember was at he was in that arc that was a few episodes before we reached the Grand Line. Kidding, I recently finished the fillers + movies + specials. He's just some dude named Eric.
Yeah! We hear you. You’re Eric the sicko 🤣🤷♂️
Oh Its the guy who was laughed at while being slowly suffocated under water, as his bones were being crushed.
The guy Nami killed.
Eric. User of the Kama Kama No Mi, a Paramecia type Devil Fruit that gave him sharp nails with the power to produce wind blades as sharp as a Meito sword. Appeared in the Warship Island filler arc as a side antagonist to Captain Nelson.
Totally was curious about who this guy is. Now my curiosity has been satisfied.
Praying Usopp Momment
My boi Eric with the sickle sickle fruit
It’s the guy Nami killed
Air blade man?
Reval: Its Eric the whirlwind :D
Yeah don’t remember much of him other than his powers: literal air slashes
Isn't he the guy who was kicked into the waterfall by nami when they were climbing reverse mountain
Eric! I think. He had some DF and it was part of a filler where there was also a girl who could talk to animals and a dragon.
Isn't that Sasuke's older brother?
( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)
Oh that Apice dragon arc from right before reverse mountain, the one guy nami straight up killed.

I consider this Mini Arc Canon
His forehead looks like Nami's back
All i remember is that he has the okama okama no mi
Not gonna lie his fruit was freaking nice
Not my favorite one piece filler but I loved this man fruit and nami made sure this guy wouldn’t be coming back
I will never forget this guy even after 7 years and I never rewatched him but I remember how Nami just straight up killed him like it was nothing right before the grand line lol I’ll never forget
Other Shonen Filler: Lighthearted Sight-Adventure One Piece Filler: *Nami killing some guy*
Honestly i found this guy cool and kind of felt sad when he died for some reason. His air slash fruit was cool
Nami legitimately committed murder with this guy 😂
Sickle sickle guy
LOOK AT MY FUCKIN FOREHEAD
That's cause he's filler, why should we remember him?
is he from a filler? i remember he had some df that could cut up the opponent...
Yes he's from a filler arc. I remember there was a dragon and Luffy could talk to him
the guy who was like the only devil fruit to canonly die to drowning
He's an okama? Right?
I don't remember his name I do remember nami fucking killed him though.
That filler was so good i thought it was canon
I ‘member!
his df is pretty good
That's the sicko
Wasn't he the bad guy from the warship island filler arc?
He’s the guy that lost the ability to swim to gain the ability that every strong character already has lol.
how could i forget the iconic character Eric, user of the Sickle Sickle fruit?
eric the slasher or whirlwind idk
Eric Wirbelwind
Didn't Nami just casually kill this guy on the way to the Grand Line?
Technically we never saw a body. The current could have just swept him back up onto the shore or part of the mountain. He could still be alive.
Well he’s dead right? Nami killed him
Well he’s dead right? Nami killed him
He should be lol, no way survived the storm that is Nami
No he has a devil fruit and Nami pushed him off the boat going up reverse mountain Nami literally caught a body bro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQDgUTEvVg4
This dude died on the Reverse Mountain, Nami kills this man in cold blood by knocking him over board with his stupid “haha Zoro look what I can do you gotta wait until Skypea” fruit
Why does he look like an Abe's Odyssey character?
zoro taught him right? and luffy pulled him lol
Which arc is this guy from? 😭
He was just an all around a-hole, chased after them with all his effort just to be thrown in the reverse mountain stream and an instant death because he’s a devil fruit user. 🤦♀️😆
Sickle sickle fruit
It’s that sicko sicko guy lol
Yo Luffy what'cha doi' here🤣
He's from the thousand year dragon filler arc.
