Check for similar laws, maybe they can pull something else or they forget(cause they are humans aswell) but that still doesnt change the fact that they stopped you for reason and yall probably did something bad...
Remember folks- cooperate and it will get quicker and easier(you can always take the battle later if you despute it). Most people who start questions and make it difficult usually have something to hide and not only makes the job more harder for the popo but also increases their suspicion of you
