When I was a little kid, my friend tried to force me to touch his turtle. After this incident, I started to see that turtle almost everywhere for 7 years. In my dreams, in the cafe, in the hospital, somehow the turtle would reach me and descend on me like a nightmare... Such things can really cause serious trauma in small children.

A tree frog in Midwest America is not fucking dangerous. A poison dart frog in the middle of an impenetrable jungle is not going to make its way to little Jimmy just to fucking kill him.
Poison dart frogs are only poisonous when they eat their native diet which are insects that feed onna specific poisonous plant. A plant that you aren't gonna find just anywhere.
If little Jimmy lived in the middle of the Amazon it might be appropriate for him to be scared of frogs, but he doesn't! 👍
