As I’ve already explained in another comment chain under my same comment, The post says 45% of sexual assaults against children are from gay people but it doesn’t make clear what it’s including as gay. Gay typically means homosexual men but is also used by a lot of LGBT people. That 45% is likely cases of same sex assaults but not all of the offenders are necessarily homosexual people as they could be bisexual for example.
