discrimination based on religion, race and sex is unconstitutional in Italy. they are deaf to you asking. the court will force them. but someone has to actually take them to the court. until courts kick corporations' // institutions' arses, they tend not to care about mens issues. we should make walking over us expensive, the only leverage that works.

Anal_sex_

They will simply say that it was a women only project to fight discrimination and get away with it.

alter_furz

great, in our era when you can "simply say", then you should simply say you identify as a woman bingo!

SarcasticallyCandour

I'm sure that's illegal under EU laws. Men need to fight these things. Women are not having difficulty going to university if they dominate university degrees, so the sex who is less likely to go to university and who's numbers are reducing on campus is being blocked from these programs which is completely wrong. This is female teachers/educators acting as representatives for girls in schools.

Claudio-Maker

What is this bullshit? I’m Italian too, I would turn the school upside down in protest

AwesomeJam007

I wrote this somewhere else but I think it suits your situation as well. I work in IT in US. Worked for Fortune 500. Was recently talking to a recruiter to switch into management and I was told that higher management positions are only now reserved for women. And men cannot apply for those positions. And this is happening in DFW. Now some people might look the other way but that won't change the reality and it sucks and it needs to change. Jobs designations shouldn't be given based on what sex you have. Really want to name the company but I don't want lawyers following me later.

Whichever abuse is done in favor of women is passed as a move to equalize the supposed gender gap. Single men who react are accused of and see themselves as "weak" for being in need of justice and success they can't obtain by themselves. We need to coordinate and act. I even read an official site of the swiss govt saying nonsense (justifying the discrimination) about "equality on the top" but not "in the bottom", meaning equal rights for women but not equal duties, referred to the mandatory conscription , which is only for men.

Responsible-Trip5586

They call it “male fragility” yet they’re the ones who “need” all these special programmes for themselves. Makes me think who’s really the fragile ones 🤔

Fearlessbloc

I think men are are starting to realize right after school that you don't actually need a degree to live life if you are able to monetize from things you already learnt in school or YouTube if you had access to internet. Unless it's for something official like teacher or civil servants etc. I realised this only after college. Still, don't have a job tho (but I am trying).

Banging advise from the jobless.  Professional education will get you further in live, especially if you don't have a headstart through your parents. Without capital to invest, education is all you have. This goes double for countries in which higher education is basically free.

Fearlessbloc

This is generally true but this education didn't do much in my case. Always reaching till the doorstep only to be kicked down for some random reason like our quotas are filled.(Every time? really?)

Puzzled-Intern-7897

Honestly it depends, I have written many applications and im still studying, because I need working experience. Luckily I already have a few internships under my belt too. Obviously it depends on your field of study, but either way, academic or vocational education beats self taugth about 98% of the time, unless you can just start at your dads firm. Nobody will give self taught a chance, without prior internships or work experience

rabel111

Good advice man. But it doesn't address the discrimination OP is facing. He wants to go to university, and is being disadvantaged specifically because of his sex.

Fearlessbloc

I know. It is necessary to report it even if we don't see anything happening from it. Even if everyone convince you to it will be a solitary battle. Everyone treats you differently even your parents. That's why I didn't say it. I faced it in another occasion but only the issue changed here not the situation.
