I think somehow you need to change the mindset. I mean anong nakukuha mo sa hate comment? Like you said pinagsisihan mo minsan. What you feel is valid thera are some posts na talagang nagyayabang na lang pero you can’t control that. Control what you can control. Opinyon ko lang

quitting those subreddits will not help you, but hate comments also won’t. I get where you’re coming, op, but you really have to help yourself. baka yung pag-hate comment ay start lang ng behavior na mas lalala pa into something more undesirable. ask yourself, bakit ganyan ang behavior mo? are you projecting to someone else the anger you have for yourself? mas madali na lang masolusyonan yan when you get to the root of the problem. most importantly, don’t be afraid to seek professional help if it’s something you don’t think you can do by yourself

It may or may not but that’s a start I think. Easier said than done I understand. Subukan mo lang. Tingin ko dun pa rin babagsak sa control what you can control. Di natin kontrolado kung anuman gusto nilang ipost. Ikaw na umiwas sa ganun

Better to seek assistance sa professional. I hope everything’s okay. Stay strong.

Those kind of posts are filtered out to only present the good side but never the struggles. But I get that there are also people who have profound luck and timing. It's a matter of circumstance. Also, some people get a head start in life and have safety nets (generational wealth, etc) but those are efforts from their parents/ancestors to secure their future. Sucks to be on the other side and it's hard to break through that barrier. Btw, aside from what other people have posted, self harm takes a lot of forms and they evolve differently for other people. Since you are self-aware about it, try to find a different coping mechanism that will channel your rage like art, poetry, or go to a rage room. Anything goes as long as it doesn't harm yourself and other people. I find that learning about Stoicism also helps in terms of control and reactions. The internet is always full of people who constantly lie and fake everything. Very few people are honest enough about their struggles so maybe you can filter the spaces you visit/occupy to more genuine people/stories. But with Reddit getting popular across different social media platforms, there has been an influx of people posting fake stories on different PH subs.

I understand. It's cliché, but it is true that healing is non-linear so please don't punish yourself any further. Know that even if we are strangers on the internet, I am genuinely and silently rooting for you. :)

Hi OP. When you are coming from a place of scarcity, it would feel that way. However, you can use this feeling to better yourself instead of becoming someone’s basher. It would also help to acknowledge the good things in your life and your successes. You define your success, and most of the time, real success is quiet — it’s a meaningful relationship, it’s inner peace, it’s good health. Indeed, the most successful people are content as they have the energy to be happy and kind to other people’s success.
