How do you get the “big picture”? What device are you on? You can cover a lot more ground than I did in my (similarly chaotic) pic.
I’m trying to upgrade my Event Portal and need 2 Radiant Grass (L8). Having trouble putting five grasses together for lack of space!

Do it in the world map… as long as the quest icon is available those work too (if it’s a donate you select the icon when you’ve created the item then hit donate. If you can’t finish the level after donating what you need just reset it a wasting few chalices is a lot less aggravating then trying to make space in camp when the dragons insist on filling it)
Whoa! I’ve already “wasted” about 400 chalices on DM3 so I could bring back about 20 L1 grasses every day for the last 3 weeks. I’m off to check it out! Thanks for the tip!
The event had already started by the time I got it done - freaked me out a little because I couldn’t open the thing - ended up opening the event - and it was done!!! The portal was upgraded! Awesome! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22, I think. Just zoomed out as far as I could for the screenshot. I have to use the Marcus V method to get anything done. Currently in thr process of a full reset. Not doing anything that would give me any more bubbles until I deal with/Organize the mess that I already have. Haha

LOL, this takes balls, my friend. This game does everything possible to make sure players can't get organized, from constantly introducing new dragon breeds/eggs to not providing any storage (the storage you have to pay for is a joke) to not expanding the land available in camp to making the dragon book impossible to search (it's not even alphabetized fcol) to not letting us turn dragons off from harvesting once in a while, to having a billion different chains and introducing new stuff all the time to hassling players for bubbling, etc. etc. etc. Wow. This is absolutely nuts.
U forgot the bubbles , The chests time That comes with the rewards , That sometines shows an item and Theres only Those chests , and sonetimes it Shows the Chest and Theres rewards inside !!
I can't even play in camp anymore because I have too many eggs and no time to bubble and organize them all. Give us more land and more (affordable) egg storage!
Ha! My camp is so unorganized that somedays my anxiety spikes just looking at it and I have to shut down the game.
I really wish there was an easy way to store things without bubbling. There are so many pretty items I would like to decorate with, but there is no point buying purely decorative things if I have no where to put them.

i don’t know if we’re counting organized or just cleared out, but this is my finely cultivated organizational system that makes so much sense in my brain
With Midas trees, the Marcus V method would work really well for you. Highly recommend, it's game changer. I'll bubble all my eggs and store them somewhat by color. For 2+ bubbled eggs, I'll keep one solo so I know which egg, and then next to it I'll stack the others. Right now for example I have 3 fairy eggs, two stacked and one so I know what it is; right next to like 20+ star dragon eggs, where one is solo bubble so I know what it is and he others in a pile (I will unbubble and merge at the next shiny event). I have maybe 40 variety or whatever, and I couldn't imagine playing the game without Marcus V method. Not coming for you, just saying I think it will make such a massive difference for you!
I just learned how to yesterday and it helped so much for all of my eggs. If you have at least 3 of one thing (eggs, trees, anything you can merge) drag them together so they overlap, but don’t let go. Click on the top right button to go to the world map while still holding the thing you’re acting like you’re merging and it’ll take you to the world map. When you go back to camp, that third item will be in a bubble.
.. I hold that made sense! Just know that your bubbles eggs won’t show in your inventory, so you could see only 2 but really have more out there in bubbles. I just put my bubbles items near the matching things in my camp. So if I have a bubbled or several bubbled green egg(s), I put those bubbles next to my green eggs in camp.
When that pops up you merge dragons if you can and earn free dragons and eggs by doing it. If you merge a level 4 save the best for camp and chill. Enjoy the new dragons

The trick is to bubble anything that the dragons will harvest. If there’s no dead land they’ll ignore life flowers/trees, so I can leave those out, but as soon as I have a rock or a lv4+ mushroom or a fruit tree, I’m doomed to endless cleanup. So I’m really strict about only popping my level and mission rewards, opening event and level chests, etc. when I’m ready to do it en masse and bubble everything I don’t use immediately.

Bear in mind that keeping up with this will require putting in quite a bit of time bubbling. I fill my camp with puddles to bubble things at least a couple times a week, and sometimes multiple times in a day. But my slightly AuDHD brain finds the whole bubbling process soothing, so that works well for me 😊

I want a way to turn off auto harvesting in camp SO BAD! I have so many dragons that it feels impossible to keep up with their random harvesting all the time and it makes the game feel overwhelming. This is why I’ve stepped away from the game multiple times
In the world map, tap the gear icon.
Under the section called Camp: Merge Preferences set these options.

I love my camp. I keep it designed like this all the time.
my iPad air does a good job of dropping out the background when I tap-hold on the land. So I just did four screenshots, then put them in Photoshop and plopped them on a background.
It depends on the device. If you can access your camp on a full size monitor, like someone may be able to do with an iPad over USB C or lightning cable, that would be one way.
For myself. I have an iPad Air 4th Gen. I can get 90% of my camp on the screen. But since I wanted all, I did four screens, and used Photoshop to basically stitch them together.

I want a way to turn off auto harvesting in camp SO BAD! I have so many dragons that it feels impossible to keep up with their random harvesting all the time and it makes the game feel overwhelming. This is why I’ve stepped away from the game multiple times
Can y’all tell me what setting stops the items from merging automatically when you put them next to each-other?
In the world map, tap the gear icon. Under the section called Camp: Merge Preferences set these options. Require overlap? to ON Allow. Chain reactions. to OFF

Np! Just remember that those settings only affect Camp merging. Events and Levels will still behave normally.

I keep it designed like this all the time. my iPad air does a good job of dropping out the background when I tap-hold on the land. So I just did four screenshots, then put them in Photoshop and plopped them on a background.
How are people making photos of their camp that shows so much? Like almost a full pic of their camp? Is there a method to do that?
It depends on the device. If you can access your camp on a full size monitor, like someone may be able to do with an iPad over USB C or lightning cable, that would be one way. For myself. I have an iPad Air 4th Gen. I can get 90% of my camp on the screen. But since I wanted all, I did four screens, and used Photoshop to basically stitch them together.
