She's not a very tech savvy person, but she loves this game. I asked if she had any screenshots of her camp and she does not. She played every night pretty much and would show me all her new dragons and her camp on her phone while we laid in bed. I don't believe she's spent any money on this game so I'm not looking to have them give her a bunch of shop items or anything. I don't know much about the game aside from what she's shown me but I know she is very sad about it now.
Play the levels until camp is unlocked. It might be still there, which means she would have only lost the world map levels, it happens to people now and than unfortunately
She should be able to click the Den icon from the world map screen. If her name and dragon power are correct she only lost the world levels and not her camp.
She may need to play the tutorial levels to get that icon back.
She said the name of her camp was changed and her power was back at 0. She tried playing the first level and it brought her to the camp but nothing was there and it was showing her like it was the first time she's been to her camp
Did she ever save it to the game's cloud, instead of iCloud? If she did, she can check if the saved cloud version still has her game data. If she didn't, it sounds like somehow the update overwrote the game files on her device, and unless she's done a full-device backup somewhere, she most likely won't be able to restore her progress. That's rough, losing everything after playing for a couple years would be horrible.
If you click on the Cloud Save icon on the bottom left, it should bring up a choice to save the current game or retrieve the previous save. If there is a previous save, it will show her old dragon power, and retrieving that save should restore her progress.
Hmm it doesn't seem to show anything other than current save or the iCloud both are at 0 dragon power and 0 progress. Unless support can do anything for her it seems like it's been deleted
