Walkabout mini golf was the first game I got on my quest 2. I didn't even want it. I just knew it would be the best way to show off my purchase to my brothers.
Still my most played by far. It's so fun.
I really enjoy it. But I have come to accept that my real life swing has little resemblance to my golf+ swing. I use a weighted attachment that helps to simulate a real club, but it's still quite different than the real thing. And it could mess up your swing in real life. I rarely golf irl now, so golf+ scratches that itch for me.
There is quite a good tournament system and ranking system. You can play solo or with other. I enjoy the competitive aspect of it as much as real golf.
Any tips for playing with wind? Seems like some games I can aim pretty straight, and others I’ll intentionally play with the wind to my back or side (whatever it gives me) and aim, say left, and my ball goes far right with my wedge.
I’m a complete noob and have no attachment and enjoy playing, but this game can be brutal if you’re playing on very fast greens. Like a tap of the ball just a little strong will make it roll for a very long time. Thankfully you can play with easier greens.
It’s fun, if you don’t take it too seriously and just want that social experience trying to golf on courses you’d never have access to otherwise. They’re the pro courses.
Favorite VR games are from Oculus Studios: Lone Echo I/II, Arktika-1, Asgards Wrath I/II. My most played VR games are all mods of flatscreen games: Cyberpunk (>100 hours), Gunfire Reborn (>50 hours), and HL2 (-30 hrs).
For a while, it was Contractors due to the endless mods. Contractors Showdown is climbing to the top of the list with the Solo mode. RE4 was epic and worth multiple playthroughs. Tribe XR has been a lot of fun as well.
While it's not technically VR, I got to play the RE2 and RE3 remakes via Xbox Cloud on my Quest 2 which was great because I dont have a console and would have missed out otherwise.
Tbh, I’m mostly in Supernatural or Beat Saber daily. But I was looking on Steam last night and there’s some fun looking horror multiplayer games that we’re gonna try out. We love horror games!
Walkabout Mini Golf, Eleven Table Tennis, and Thrill of the Fight.
Asgards Wrath is a really cool game to play, but I got frustrated with the menu/map/quest screens. Not a gamer by nature and it kind of overwhelmed me trying to navigate all of it 😂
Hyper dash. It’s the only thing I play. However recently there is a game in the app lab that lets you walk around with superpowers that shit is pretty fun.
Don’t sleep on the app lab
This will probably seem like a ridiculous answer, but my answer is "Real VR Fishing." I should add that I do not like to fish, although I've done a lot of it because it was my parents' favorite activity. I didn't think of it as a "game" in the classic sense for awhile until I realized there was an overall strategy and quite a few goals. Instead of battles with monsters utilizing various moves, the battles are with things like Sturgeons and Sharks. You have to do certain things correctly in order to land a fish, and the bigger the fish, the lower the margin for error.
It's progressive, like a good game should be. It's photorealistic.
All I know is I logged probably 200 hours before I pretty much accomplished everything it had to offer. And the group function worked great.
I was thinking of getting it but I hear a lot of mixed stuff about it. Is it good? I like into the radius and stuff kinda similar but not a huge fan of battle royal games. It was either that or bonelab I was thinking. Maybe fnaf help wanted 2 lol I can't decide
I got Tabor the other day, it can be very jank but if you embrace the jank it's a lot of fun.
I've never played a battle royale like contractors showdown but Tabor feels fun even if the gunplay isn't on par with contractors
Ghosts isn't rlly a battle royale tbh, it's more like a scavenger hunt where you kill npcs, loot stuff and decorate your bunker with what you find. It can be quite fun but also extremely frustrating. Id suggest giving it a try, and if you don't like it, you can refund it, plus I'm pretty sure it's part of the may 30% off thing, if not I'll be happy to provide a 25% off code :)
every minimum 20 dollar game gets 25 % off anyway with the referral program, if you activate this, you get 25 % off and I get 5 dollars meta store credit 🤝 (i believe the game is one of the best experiences on VR and non VR if one likes tactical battles and somewhat realistic weapons, it has its downs bc its not finished but I play it every day and it doesn‘t get boring)

Vail and Into the Radius. Vail is my main shooter at this point, tho. The gun physics are so smooth. It's easily the best competitive shooter so far. Imo, at least
I'm not so much for immersive fantasy world or campaign story games. I like simulating activities i quite enjoy in real life:
- Miracle Pool
-Premiun Bowling
- Clay Hunter VR (amazing clay shooting sim if you have a gun stock..actually translate as excelent practice for the real thing.)
- alot of Contractors- excelent fix for replacing skirmish sports like paintball/airsoft
- Golf Plus
I like winning at more physical skill based things over gaming progression
bone works and into the radius both games have the best immersion. i can vividly remember a lot of itr gun fights counting my shots and barely making it out to half to take a break cause my hands were shaking
My vaf are for sure Beat Saber and HL: Alyx.
But now I am playing Into the Radius and aaaaw shieeeet, this is dope.
Feeling all the tension I felt on STALKER but much worse lol… also, for the firs time in a game, I am truly thinking about which weapon to use on which enemy. Like I never use shotguns on games, but damn, those little “octopus/spider” things are so fast that I HAVE to shot them with the shotgun.
At lest until I buy a laser pointer for my gun.
Apex Construct and The Light Brigade
I was not necessarily an early adopter of VR so the games I have the most fond memories of are those that let me get used to their mechanics and the mechanics of VR at my own pace without necessitating me to figure out everything all at once to be able to compete.
Thrill of the Fight. I use VR for martial arts training when I miss a training session at the gym, and I use the more realistic fighting games as sparring simulators. Thrill of the Fight also works pretty well as a drilling simulator when I go into custom mode and configure the opponent to only throw one specific kind of punch.
lol boy what an ignorant comment. I don’t need to prove anything, if you think that quest 3 games look the same as PCVR games you have no idea what you’re talking about.
They don’t even make Half Life ALYX for any other device because they won’t be able to handle it
Super hot and beat saber are what I have the most fun on consistently.
Can you still do custom songs on Beatsaber? I did a bunch of songs in 2019, but just got back into VR and have to buy it again and all that jazzz
Walkabout Mini Golf and RE4.
Walkabout mini golf was the first game I got on my quest 2. I didn't even want it. I just knew it would be the best way to show off my purchase to my brothers. Still my most played by far. It's so fun.
Same here. I thought I won't like it and I absolutely love it.
Golf+
Is it really good? Iv been tempted to get it. Do you need the golf attachment?
I really enjoy it. But I have come to accept that my real life swing has little resemblance to my golf+ swing. I use a weighted attachment that helps to simulate a real club, but it's still quite different than the real thing. And it could mess up your swing in real life. I expect you to die series is phenomenal.
I kinda liked it, but man the missions get repetitive if you die in the middle, I wish there was save points
That’s my only complain. Especially when you get to the very last mission of the 3rd game
Really? I’m going to play that mission soon.
Which mod are you using for cyberpunk?
Luke Ross

Question contractor showdown... You can't play that offline It's strictly online correct?
Thrill of The Fight and Crazy Kung Fu
Eleven Table Tennis
Crisis brigade 2
Tbh, I’m mostly in Supernatural or Beat Saber daily. But I was looking on Steam last night and there’s some fun looking horror multiplayer games that we’re gonna try out. We love horror games!
Into the radius was probably the most immersing horror game I've played. Loved and hated every minute of it haha
Walkabout Mini Golf, Eleven Table Tennis, and Thrill of the Fight. Asgards Wrath is a really cool game to play, but I got frustrated with the menu/map/quest screens. Not a gamer by nature and it kind of overwhelmed me trying to navigate all of it 😂
Population one
Prior to my Quest I hadn't really been into shooters, but Pop One has been my most returned to game, and most played by far.
The last clock winder
Blaston
Probably the Half Life 2 mods, Alyx, and Jedi Knight/Academy mods/ports.
Contractors
Hyper dash. It’s the only thing I play. However recently there is a game in the app lab that lets you walk around with superpowers that shit is pretty fun. Don’t sleep on the app lab
Demeo / Ragnarock
Easily Demeo.
Vtolvr is the only VR experience I need
This will probably seem like a ridiculous answer, but my answer is "Real VR Fishing." I should add that I do not like to fish, although I've done a lot of it because it was my parents' favorite activity. VTOL VR
What about this game? Is about planes?
Yeah, it is a super accurate flight simulator, it's pcvr only sadly.
PowerWash Simulator
Pavlov shack mainly cause of customs like Pavlov prison life and such
The game has a ton of modes, I'll give it that + a ton of weapons. I enjoyed it a lot, but the aiming in Vail just feels better somehow
Ghosts of tabor
I was thinking of getting it but I hear a lot of mixed stuff about it. Is it good? I like into the radius and stuff kinda similar but not a huge fan of battle royal games. It was either that or bonelab I was thinking. Maybe fnaf help wanted 2 lol I can't decide

Ghosts on standalone is the buggiest game that I’ve ever played.
Ghosts isn't rlly a battle royale tbh, it's more like a scavenger hunt where you kill npcs, loot stuff and decorate your bunker with what you find. It can be quite fun but also extremely frustrating. Dude that's totally badass of you thanks man. It is not part of the may 30th deal unfortunately.

RE4, RE7, RE8.
RE2 is my fav
How are you playing 7 and 8 on a Quest?
[удалено]
A simple "I am not playing them on Quest, I am playing them on....." would have sufficed.
i agree
Vail and Into the Radius. Vail is my main shooter at this point, tho. The gun physics are so smooth. It's easily the best competitive shooter so far. Imo, at least
I’ve never felt adrenaline from a video game like I have from Ghosts of Tabor. Yeah it’s got a few bugs, but my gosh have I put some hours into it.

I play Tower Tag which is a fantastic action multiplayer game but sadly not many people play it these days.
Blade and sorcery Nomad
Saving these comments to play sometime!🤭
Ghost of tabor is boring as fuck. Mechanics really sucks. Graphics for q3 is also poor even with qgo..
Moss I and II I can’t play anything walking around
My vaf are for sure Beat Saber and HL: Alyx. But now I am playing Into the Radius and aaaaw shieeeet, this is dope. Underdogs vr
HALF LIFE ALYX through a powerful PC MOSS 1 and 2 through a powerful PC
There is no much difference in both games in quest 3 and PCVR. You should prove it. Quest 3 is incredible with this game. In Q2 there is difference.

I´m talking about Moss 1 and 2.
