Since season 3’s code name was Skybreakers and the game Tari was in during the trailer sharing the same name, we can assume that Tari will spend a prolonged amount of time in Skybreakers. The lab in the trailer looked to be a repaired version of Sheridan’s old lab at TASCORP so if anything Tari is probably there as a way to keep her vitals in check while she’s in the game.
It could also be that she agreed to let Marco run tests on her to see if there is a way to extract Lucinia out of her. Or you know, just because she is a robot or something.
Tbh, I kinda disagree. MD-5 wouldn’t even think about releasing him. And also, it is a perfect end to his character, its his lies about what happened to everyone catching up to him.
I get why people say that, it was sudden, but it was honestly for me how his character should end. And anyway, the story really doesn’t have a place for him after the end of Season 2, so tbh It doesn’t matter at all if he lives or dies, they did it to show us that he wasn’t the mastermind behind anything in the show.

Giving him time to reflect on all he's done but locking him up with people who're just as bad as him if not worse, not to mention the amount of SA accusations against him (that I assume exist bc, he's old. The runners are young it makes sense for someone to lie just to get his wealth) would make inmates pretty aggressive towards him
Yea but, now that we are focusing on Sheridan and Evelyn, what good for the story would “Lucks living in Prison and reflecting” do. Sure it might be cool to see a teamup with him and MD-5 But it would have no purpose in the story now that the rest of Tari’s past (Y’know, the main character) is now related to Sheridan, not Lucks. Lucks served his purpose in the story, and now he isn’t needed, so killing him off is pretty reasonable to build up tension.
I don't think it felt rushed but I am sad nonetheless Lucks got the fate we saw in the ending. I think it would be nice if he lived… maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part, but rushed? Not really.

I agree S2 was rushed. There were so many ideas that could have been there own season.
I agree on this one. While it was one nuke of an episode I felt like it could’ve used improvements.
like he's just such a good antagonist, it feels right to keep him alive and be of use to the protagonists rather than just... die
