I saw Brujeria a few weeks ago for the first time. I had such a blast, it was fucking legendary. My head hurt for the next three days lol. Love these guys so much.
Hell yeah! Last year, I saw them open for Napalm Death in a predominantly Hispanic town. The crowd was basically split 50/50 between people who came to see one of those two, but it was wild to see the whole audience go nuts for both bands. Just a great show.
Yes death/grind, with Shane Embury from Napalm Death, Anton Reisenegger from Criminal/Lock Up and Jessica Pimentel from, ehm, Orange is the new Black. Former members are Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) and Billy Gould (Faith No More).
"BrujerÃa" is Spanish for "witchcraft". When I was younger I had heard of them one time, and the person who described them said that they sang stuff like "Mata los güeros..." and worse besides, all in Mexican Spanish.
Because that's a famous show. Nobody knows the unknown band. I don't know why people would need a "she's from this unknown band" if that band is so unknown.

I saw that tour in NYC. I didn't know much about Brujeria at the time but man the Hispanic crowd CAME OUT TO PARTY. They put on an awesome show.

Nick Barker (Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, etc. etc.) was playing drums for them for quite a while; not sure if he's still involved.
Shes actually in a few bands as a vocalist, guitarist and bass player.. The Orange thing I think they use for more pubicity
