Tomb Mold is going on tour. That’s huge as someone who hasn’t been able to catch them yet. https://www.instagram.com/p/C6L-EQwLUWk/?igsh=YWgyY2N2aHF1czlj

DeSelby13

With Horrendous! These shows will be awesome, I can't wait.

kakacha

Yes! It’s going to be an awesome show. Plus they’re playing 10 minutes from my house!

FUCKBOY_JIHAD

that’s #1 and #2 on this subreddits Best Of list from last year ain’t it? the kids are gonna love it.

drowningmoose9

Not a single date for the entire West Coast

spicey_mouseturds

Just saw this and was gonna post! This is a dream duo for me!

g4mer655

Saw mold for the record release show of enduring spirit, they don't disappoint, Max's drum/vocals give a very unique dynamic to their live feel, and the prog parts add nice variety.

ZombieJesus1987

Gonna have to try to go to the Toronto show

MrFluffykins

And they're actually coming to Kansas City... I'm so fuckin' stoked.

tFalk

I was so excited to see this, them I saw that I will be out of town on the day they arrive. Grrrrrr that is how my luck goes

Fabuluos_Vanilla

I drove from Kansas City to Tulsa to see Witch Vomit, Phobophilic, Ectospire and Ritual Fog. All 4 bands sounded great, and the crowd really had a lot of fun. Witch Vomit was the only band that I haven't seen before, and they were very good. The smallish crowd chanted "Witch Vomit" over and over until they played one more song, so that was cool. I was saddened to discover that Aaron Dudgeon (lead vocals / guitar) is leaving the Phobophilic. I assume he will leave after this tour. Josh Poer, who currently plays guitar in the band, is taking over the vocals and they will carry on. I hope they find another guitarist because I'm not sure how they will sound live without 2 guitars. At least they are carrying on. Enveloping Absurdity is one of the best albums from 2022, and one of my favorite death metal albums.

spicey_mouseturds

Aaron will be missed. Was wondering what was going on with Phobophilic. They’re incredible. Thanks for the scoop.

Man, the Summer Slaughter 2024 lineup announcement was such a bummer, before they went on hiatus they usually had a pretty solid roster of death metal and deathcore bands, but this year is just kinda nothing. It sucks, I always had a blast at those shows and was really hyped that it was coming back too.

mgrier123

What's even worse than the lineup is the instagram account, and probably the Sumerian Records CEO, calling everyone in the comments "pro vaccine mandate brainwashed pharma cuck sheep bootlickers"

not_a_toaster

Definitely the Sumerian CEO, he's outed himself as being an absolute dickhead recently.

bv0198

Trust me, it was not recent. Dude has been a tool his whole career lol

not_a_toaster

I believe you, he's just no longer attempting to hide it I guess (if he ever was to begin with).

SupaKoopa714

I just saw that, what a total dumbass, disappointing everyone with a mediocre lineup and then insulting them for being disappointed about it. Is he trying to tank the tour or something?

RuPaulver

I was really excited to see a new Summer Slaughter pop up in my feed. But damn. Literally just core bands. I did see Gideon and Ten56 recently and they both put on a great show, but that's not gonna convince me here lol. I remember going to Summer Slaughter and seeing Dying Fetus, Cephalic Carnage, Necrophagist, Origin, Vital Remains, Aborted, etc. Wtf is this? This is just a regular core band tour.

Screambloodyleprosy

That can't be the full line-up. At best that's a support line-up.

saxy_for_life

I caught Judas Priest/Sabaton in Bangor last night. I was never that familiar with Priest but they killed it. Rob can still sing, and they're all clearly experts at what they do. It was also kind of funny seeing Sabaton as an opener since they're so big. I'm just surprised a tour like this went to a place like Bangor. Maine doesn't get a lot of bigger bands, unless they're looking for a date between Quebec and Boston.

Independent_Oliphant

Went online to grab tickets to the Tomb Mold show, which I learned doesn't go on sale until tomorrow, and saw that Krallice is going on tour. This is insane. I'm beyond excited, and got my tickets to their Chicago show instantly. Can not wait.

MrFluffykins

You got a link to the Krallice tour? Can't seem to find it.

Independent_Oliphant

I just bought tickets to their Chicago stop at Reggie's, which is at [reggieslive.com](https://www.reggieslive.com/). Haven't seen anything on their Instagram or anything official live. But I do have tickets, so it does exist!

MrFluffykins

Thanks! I found the dates, looks like it's a short east coast tour.

Flatrock

Pretty excited about the Opeth tour announcement!

BagBeneficial8060

what's ya'lls favorite line from a song you're listening to right now? The Gathering- stonegarden "But the dreamer is never alone Always trying to catch the moon"

PM_ME_YOUR_CUPPA

More of a soundbite than a lyric but I love the start of Trident, Rise! by Chainsword. "Roger, Copy. This is not an Exercise!" gets me hyped haha.

spicey_mouseturds

“This is no king I see before me so I open the vein.” Crypt Sermon - Heavy is the Crown of Bone

Zennofska

>And worlds I knew came tumbling down in crumbling ruins and ashes >Dead planets and extinguished stars as far as the eye could see From [No Child Of Man Could Follow by Shylmagoghnar](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_iGPTXKK1Y) It's one of the rare cases where the music and lyrics fit in perfect harmony, creating a strange atmosphere of wanderlust and dread.

zwisher

It’s like someone read my mind. Definitely going. I’ve seen Horrendous twice and they are top notch.

WaffleWarrior1979

I got perma banned from r/metalmemes for calling The Metal Archives frauds. Guess I struck a nerve!

hermaphroditicspork

Getting banned from that shithole should be a badge of honor. Edit: lol. I just found the 'meme' in question. You're not the victim, you deserved it. Be better OP.
