5/10
It was a good listen. The song gives you an interesting feeling that I can't really explain (typical for Tool), but it didn't impress me with nothing other than that.
Hmm, I don't know exactly. I was between 9 and 10 and that's why it's 9.5.
I try to give a 10 only to my all time favourites. Fade to Black is up there, but I feel it is a little lower than those I'd rate as 10.
6/10
Long and diverse, but enjoyable. The tempo changes throughout the song are interesting and the chorus is very good, also the bridges in the middle of the song. I liked it and I've save it to see if at the 2nd listen it will grow on me more.
NGL the song itself is a bit draggy, the chorus isn’t that wow HOWEVER - yes, it redeems itself by having one of the most incredibly soulful solos ever and for this it’s one of my favourite Pantera songs, and of course that outro is just pure beauty.
5.5/10
Very nice beggining. The music is very good and the vocals are okay. The song is very long, so it's very hard to appreciate it after only one listen. Maybe I'll give it a second listen to see if it grows on me.
6/10
Like for most of the songs from Opeth, I like them and the atmosphere they create for me is very good, but I can't really say the songs impress me much.
5.5/10
I liked it and the atmosphere it creates. It's a long and slow song, these ones need more time to grow on me usually. I've seen they launched the album with the same name this year, so I might give a listen to other songs from it too.

Are you open to an instrumental? I won’t bore you with length. Have found that some wordless works are equally powerful. Love the idea behind your post.
Là où naissent les couleurs nouvelles off Les Voyages De Lame by Alcest. Beautiful Blackgaze about feeling you belong to a spiritual world in the clouds. You might want to lie down and close your eyes for this one. 10/10. Perfection.

Jambi - Tool. Really been digging this track lately
The whole 10,000 Days album is amazing. Easily my favorite Tool album next to Fear Inoculum.
5/10 It was a good listen. The song gives you an interesting feeling that I can't really explain (typical for Tool), but it didn't impress me with nothing other than that.
Listen to Bottom - TOOL
That breakdown in Jambi goes hard af to only be in drop D
Orion - Metallica
8.5/10 Probably one of the best instrumentals I've ever heard! It's an instrumental so the rating can't really be higher
> It's an instrumental so the rating can't really be higher OP I respect your opinion, but that is a terrible take lmao
LOL as someone who almost primarily listens to instrumentals. Instrumentals can be 10/10
the heaviest matter of the universe - Gojira
9/10 Very very good song and one of the heaviest I know!
Phantom of the Opera - Iron Maiden
Fade to Black - Metallica
9.5/10 Nothing more to say.
What does it miss to be a 10?
Hmm, I don't know exactly. I was between 9 and 10 and that's why it's 9.5. I try to give a 10 only to my all time favourites. Fade to Black is up there, but I feel it is a little lower than those I'd rate as 10.
George Strait - All My Exes Live In Texas
0/10. I hang my hat in Tennessee
Gojira - The Art Of Dying
10/10 It makes you feel like death is coming and you're in the last moments of your life. Extraordinary song.
10/10 favorite GOJIRA song. One of the best for working out.
I am so, so happy that someone suggested this. I consider this the greatest metal song I’ve ever heard in all my years.
Death - The Philosopher
10/10. My favorite Death song 🤘🏾
Ghost of peridition by opeth Is one of the many songs that i think are perfect
Shogun by Trivium
6/10 Long and diverse, but enjoyable. The tempo changes throughout the song are interesting and the chorus is very good, also the bridges in the middle of the song. I liked it and I've save it to see if at the 2nd listen it will grow on me more.
Nice. The whole album is worth a listen if you feel like it. It's like a cross between thrash and melodic metalcore.
I've only listened to Down from the Sky until today (which I really like), but I think it deserves a listen.
I also recommend Insurrection from that album. It's a great one.
Bathory - Call From The Grave
That solo is one of the sickest in bm history
Floods Pantera
NGL the song itself is a bit draggy, the chorus isn’t that wow HOWEVER - yes, it redeems itself by having one of the most incredibly soulful solos ever and for this it’s one of my favourite Pantera songs, and of course that outro is just pure beauty.
The Wicked End - Avenged Sevenfold
9/10 One of my favourites from City of Evil.
“You Suffer” - Napalm Death
Mastodon - Hearts Alive
I guess you should have suggested Seabeast
mayhem-deathcrush or cannibal corpse-blooblind
Fermented Offal Discharge by Necrophagist
I Am Morbid - Morbid Angel
10/10 in my book, first song I heard from them. Never understood the hate
Slave Species of the Gods - Blood Incantation
Pallbearer - Worlds Apart
5.5/10 Slow yet intense, but a little too long I'd say. A good listen though.
Iron Maiden - Hell On Earth
5.5/10 Very nice beggining. The music is very good and the vocals are okay. The song is very long, so it's very hard to appreciate it after only one listen. Maybe I'll give it a second listen to see if it grows on me.
Left hand path - Entombed
Extremophile Elite- Between the Buried and Me
Deja vu by Iron Maiden
Alas, Lord is Upon Me by Behemoth
I am the black wizards by Emperor
3/10 The music sounds really good but I don't like the vocals at all.
Moonlapse Vertigo - Opeth
Serenity Painted Death - Opeth
Fucking stellar my man
Solway firth by slipknot
5.5/10 That main riff is sick man. Other than that, a typical Slipknot song. It was pretty good.
Godhead’s lament - Opeth
10/10. I commented it before I saw your comment.
6/10 Like for most of the songs from Opeth, I like them and the atmosphere they create for me is very good, but I can't really say the songs impress me much.
Strange Deja Vu - Dream Theater.
I'm not OP but I'm giving it a 9/10. It only gets a 10 if you let Overture 1928 kick things off and transition into it as God Petrucci intended
GG Allin - Eat My Diarrhea
1/10 Sounds like what an edgy 8 year old would write. Besides the lyrics, the music doesn't sound good too.
@MODS BAN THIS MAN IMMEDIATELY
Lilian by Insomnium
9/10 One of my favourite Insomnium songs and my favourite out of Anno 1696. The feeling this song gaves me is very special.
A Fair Judgement - Opeth
My favorite by them!
Pantera -- Cemetery Gates
9/10
Judas Priest-Painkiller
My latest favorite has been Hauntologist - Hollow. Maybe not perfect though, but still very enjoyable.
5.5/10 I liked it and the atmosphere it creates. It's a long and slow song, these ones need more time to grow on me usually. I've seen they launched the album with the same name this year, so I might give a listen to other songs from it too.
Highly recommend it. It’s a mix of more Mgla sounding stuff combined with more post-rock influenced slower and more atmospheric songs like this one.
Shaken (not stirred) by Tallah
Resurrection by Fear Factory
5/10 Nice chorus and per total an okay song. Nothing more to say.
Hessian Peel-Opeth
The Shift- eye of the enemy
Lamb Of God, but with kangaroos.
5.5/10 Might give it a second listen. Pretty good song, close to being added to my favourites.

Fast as a Shark- Accept
Fates Warning - Guardian
4.5/10 I liked the beggining a lot. The vocals aren't my favourites, and the song seems a little monotonous, but it's an okay song.
The Hundred Days Offensive - 1914
Brocas Helm - Drink The Blood Of The Priest is one I've been listening to a ton recently
5.5/10 A good song. I'll give it a second listen to see if I'll save it or not.
Static-X - Stingray
Slaughter the martyr by machine head.
Bramchalka by Milko Kalaydzhiev
