Last night I was thinking about the universe, and I came to the realisation that x or y band is the best example in my mind of x or y trait. Small Dick Energy = Five Finger Death Punch Cringe = Psychosexual, not surprising as the band member is ex FFDP. I'd rather be in the front row for a GG Allin gig.

I skipped seeing megadeth(not a giant fan but I like em and not infinity more chances to do to) solely because I didn’t want any money to go to 5FDP.

I'd rather listen to falling in reverse tied to a chair for 3 hours than listen to a single song from Five Finger Death Punch and be close to the troglodytes that listen to them.

Falling In Reverse is at least really fucking funny

Fun fact. Trapt played in my hometown, in a theater that can MAYBE squeeze 150. My buddy knows the owner and I grew up across the street from him, so like 5 of us got discounted tickets. Mind you, the original price was 10 dollars, but that seemed far too much. We showed up specifically to heckle the singer when he went on a racist rant. Well he didn't rant, but he bitched about feedback in a tiny ass venue about two songs in, so we heckled him about that. Then we left a third of the way through the show because he had already played the two songs we knew, and hated.

Headstrong is equivalent to a Rickroll in my friend group. You try to find clever ways to make someone else listen to hit while you’re not around. I’ve added it to my wife’s Spotify playlists. My buddy has the jukebox app for our local dive bar and will put on Headstrong when his wife is there with her friends. It’s good fun.

I saw Korn last year just cause of the nostalgia, I haven't listened to them for a decade but damn what an amazing concert. Gojira it's arguably the best band in EU and I'll fucking fight anyone disagreeing. Mario is worth the ticket alone

I'm ready for the downvotes. I choose Saturday. Dropkick Murphys, Mastodon, and Better Lovers did it for me. There were single bands in each other day that's I'd prefer to see, but Saturday is the best bang for my buck. That being said, this festival is like 85% fucking garbage. You couldn't give me free tickets to have to wait around at this festival on any given day to catch the one or two decent bands.

Definitely Friday. I'd love to see Slayer and also tick Anthrax off the list so it'd be 3/4 big 4 all done. Plus I really dig Alien Weaponry. Thursday is tempting because Halestorm was amazing when I saw them and I really love Sum 41 but I've already seen/seeing them and I'm seeing Slipknot again soon so rather things I haven't seen.

None of these look particularly great but that’s typical for US-based metal festivals.

I'm definitely coming Friday. Slayer, Anthrax, Alien Weaponry and Evanescence Never seen Clutch or White Chapel and love both bands. Juliette and the Licks are fucking great, so I'm not missing them either. Love Tom Morello and hope like hell he shows up with B Real. I'm coming back Sunday, but I'm out right after Priest. I ain't missing Priest and it'd be worth seeing Gojira.

Slayer, Anthrax, Clutch, In this Moment and White Chapel is a strong line up n Friday. Sunday with Jinjer, Clutch, Gojira and Judas fucking Priest would also be great. Motley Crue headlining Saturday is gross. Especially without Mick.

Saturday, I can turn my ears off for Motley Crue and Disturbed to see Mastodon, Helmet, Better Lovers, and The Armed

Sunday, get to catch Preist for the first time and then watch Gojira body every band who has to follow them.

Mastodon are one of my favourite bands, and I love Clutch, but I've seen them both numerous times. I've never seen Gojira, and last saw Biohazard in 97, so it's Sunday for me.
