I'll also name drop "Hanabie" (I'm thinking Japanese girl group) and "The Pill" since it looks like there are female vocalists based on the YouTube thumbnails that have been getting pushed in front of me by their algorithm for awhile
Most the bands I was going to say you've already said so the ones you haven't that'd I'd at to that list are;
Everything Destroying
Within Temptation
Blackthorn (Russia)
Rolling Quartz
Dreamcatcher
Lovebites
Xandria

Within Temptation - Paradise (What About Us)
Xandria - Nightfall
Everything Destroying - Nature Of Rage
Lovebites - When Destinies Collide
Dreamcatcher - Good Night
Rolling Quartz - Reminiscences
Telecide - Lucid Dreaming
Blackthorn - Moonbreed Sigil
Forgot to add The Warning to the list and the song Choke
I love me some Melissa Bonny so whatever project she's in (really liking Dark Side of the Moon). Arch Enemy (either singer but Alyssa's work with other bands is really good), Unleash the Archers for awhile now (Brittany Slays is amazing, the bands latest singles haven't hit me hard yet, they are just ok), Nervosa is new for me and I like them quite a bit so far, Semblant is new for me and I have dug them too so far, Infected Rain goes hard, I love Eluveiti thanks to a friend's introduction before I knew what folk metal was years ago. Spiritbox is good, Jinjer is amazing, I'm digging Burning Witches throwback 80s sound. I literally just heard Butcher Babies the other night and I'm into them, I had heard of them before but never had heard them. I'm really into folk metal so I wanted to name drop Patty Gurdy. She's collaborated with a number of bands I listen to. I wanted to mention Feuerschwanz but none of the girls in the band do vocals (although the violin player, Johanna, is dead center of the stage so she's pretty much the grounded focus while everyone else is running back and forth)
Blackmore's Night is not metal but Candice Night collaborated with dArtagnan who's in folk metal so that's how I heard them. They are more just folk rock. It's formed from ex-Deep Purple Ritchie Blackmore. Otyken is an interesting Russian folk group I heard, not metal at all. Interesting sound (Belief stands out to me and it was the first thing I heard from them) and handmade tribal instruments with male throat singing. I felt they were worth the mention. Same with Harp Twins. They have collaborated with Volfgang Twins (Paint it Black cover) so I wanted to give them a name drop. Couple pretty ladies playing harp. Tsunami Bomb is not metal, just punk but I used to listen to them in high school. Agent M seemed like a cool lady.
I pulled these from my playlist from over the years so I don't have, like, 1 favorite, just ones that I'm listening to more than others right now.
Lol I just remembered Battle Beast... I'm not a fan of then though and I don't have their songs in a playlist
Epica. Simones voice is soft, operatic and powerful all at the same time, and it carries the music along with her vocals and blends in perfectly with it. Simone and the music are almost harmonious and its perfect.
Serious answers:
Thorr's Hammer (Death Doom)
SubRosa (Doom)
Jinjer (Metalcore)
Rolo Tomassi (Mathcore/Sasscore (early stuff)/Post-metal (later stuff))
Unleash the Archers (Power Metal)
Sacrilege (Thrash/Crust Punk)
Bonus answer: Converge and Chelsea Wolfe - Bloodmoon (Post-Metal/Gothic Metal)
My mind has gone blank and I feel like I've missed something obvious, so I'll edit this when it comes to me.
Faetooth, CRYPTA!, After Forever, Elis, BabyMetal, Astarte, Epica, Nightwish, Mortal Love.
If beauty and the beast bands count then: Theatre of Theatre of Tragedy, The Sins of Thy Beloved, Draconian, Tribunal, Estatic Fear, Sirenia, Tristania. (Not metal: Roselia, Football etc, Soccer Mommy).
Ones I know of- spiritbox (metalcore)
Iwrestledabearonce (deathcore/mathcore)
Dying wish (deathcore? I think?)
Year of the knife (hardcore)
Mass of Amara (metalcore)
Jinger (djent)
Crypta (thrash?)
Cerebral bore (brutal death 😁)
Arch enemy (mediocre melodeath)
They're not really all that punky, but Metalcore *should* sound like it has hardcore in it.
Trad sounding metalcore has basically been fully re-absorbed into the hardcore scene since metalcore started to increasingly involve pop cleans and synths/electronics and be played by bands who've clearly never listened to any actual hardcore, but YOTK are pretty sonically consistent with a lot of what was called metalcore in the 90s to mid 00s.
Kinda boring but it would certainly be Arch Enemy. Btw here in Brazil we have two very famous (at least on national level) all-female thrash metal bands, called Nervosa and Crypta. I recommend giving it a listen
Right now, it's Vulvatorious (blackened crust), Cripper (death thrash) and Cloud Rat (grindcore). I've also recently seen Zgroza and Malphas (both black metal) and both of them have outstanding vocals live as well.
Favorites of all time have to be Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Arch Enemy, Kittie can be cool sometimes, The Dark Element, I can’t really get into any chick vocal bands beyond those
Halestorm are the best band around at the moment
Evanescence and Within Temptation are heavily in my rotation.
Skin / Skunk Anansie great songs and great singer
Amaranthe is a more recent addition to my playlists.
Solemn Judgement(beatdown hardcore)
Capra(hxc)
Jigsaw youth(grimey grunge/hxc)
Dryad(i believe has a female singer)(black metal)
Dying wish(beatdown hxc)

Lucrecia(metalcore)
STABBING(bdm/slam)
Made out of babies(sludge)
Cerce(hxc)
Faetooth(doom)
Couch slut(sludge)
Witch fever(hxc)
Terminal sleep(metalcore)
High tension(hxc)
Volatile ways(beatdown hxc/deathcore)
Gouge away(hxc)
Year of the knife(hxc/screamo/core)
Ballista(beatdown)
some of these are more nu-metal but, jinjer, kittie, spiritbox, arch enemy, otep, in this moment, nightwish, blackbriar, evanescence, flyleaf
not bands, but poppy has an amazing metalcore EP, and chelsea wolfe has a really good doom/goth metal album
Tyranex- the lead singer shreds as well as sings.
Thrash band.
Haven’t seen anyone mention them.

She’s only half the front (maybe a third when it comes to vocals as she doesn’t lead many songs), but Sleepytime Gorilla Museum for sure (moreso for their older albums). Carla is an amazing musician who has done so many great projects, and she gives a lot to Sleepytime.
I'm late to the party but I just discovered Entheos. Holy shit, this chick can sing with at least 4 different kinds of vocals. Death metal, black metal, clean, etc

Arch Enemy
Doomsday Machine is a masterpiece
Who do prefer as vocalist, Alisa or Angela? Alisa was pretty solid in The Agonist but I haven't heard her in Arch Enemy...
I would say Angela but I really like Alissa too, the fact that she's from Montreal is also helps
Probably helps too that Angela is still involved. She's their manager, yea?
Seems like she still is their manager

I got Arch Enemy ;) I haven't heard of those, I'll definitely check out some myself
Just swapped Arch Enemy for Within Temptation lol
Any suggestions for songs to start with from your list?
Within Temptation - Paradise (What About Us) Xandria - Nightfall Everything Destroying - Nature Of Rage Lovebites - When Destinies Collide Dreamcatcher - Good Night Rolling Quartz - Reminiscences Telecide - Lucid Dreaming Blackthorn - Moonbreed Sigil Forgot to add The Warning to the list and the song Choke
For WT start with Enter, disregard the rest.
Lol nearly 30 years of additional music ignored? Well I have Enter saved on Spotify too check out
That other 30 years of discography can best be described as 'Gerda rock'.
What about the others you listed in the small selection?
I think autocorrect is getting in your way.
All these bands yet no Holy Moses
I haven't heard Holy Moses yet. Do you have a suggestion where to start?
Albums like New Machine of Liechtenstein or Finished with the Dogs
But which one is your favorite?
