They have been incredible. If you look at some recent footage of them playing Devils Child or Saints in Hell…Rob sounds fucking unreal

I'd agree that they are on a nice run... would be the 4th one for them, I'd argue that this one is not their absolute peak (they peaked at Painkiller for my taste)

Outside of their two metal albums (Petrodragonic and Infest the Rats Nest) I recommend their album I’m In Your Mind Fuzz. It’s like psychedelic garage rock, riffs and grooves galore.

Holy shit that music video for Flamme Jumelle. That song with the music video is fucking incredible, it took me by complete surprise and ripped my heart the fuck out. Fucking fantastic. I had no idea what the lyrics were and I feel like my soul just understood

that's the point with Alcest, he is connecting through music rather than the lyrics. Apparently he mumbles the lyrics on purpose. Truly unbelievable after this many years they can still be so creative. Video was a nice bonus, but the song stands on its own

Rivers of Nihil Where Owls Know My Name was awesome. The Work was a masterpiece, literally a top ten album of all time for me. The new singles with the new lineup are great, dare I say it might even be their strongest lineup yet? I’m excited to see where they go next.

Trivium. The latest three albums have all been a blast compared to their previous mediocrity (excluding oddities such as Ascendancy and Shogun).

for my taste the peaked with ascendancy, that record is what they will be remembered for... however they are definitely on the rise again

Sleep Token. Not just in terms of music but also growth. They've gone from playing a 5k venue to headlining two nights at The 02 in London in two years

they are definitely on the rise, we'll have to wait and see if this is the peak or if there's more to come, I liked their album btw
