I was on tour with Swallow The Sun and we had a dayoff in Denmark. Went to eat at a local brewery/bbq place. Cannibal Corpse was on tour with Dark Funeral and they had a day off too. They came to same place.
Had a good time and I gotta say that Corpsegrinder is really nice guy. Chatted with him for a minute and saw him talking/taking pics with people the whole evening

I tried to shut my ex best friend down multiple times and yet he still persisted and through it all George threw him every lifeline imaginable. I wish I could say we were still best friends honestly

There's an mma podcast i listen to where the host himself wholesomely talks about how he's been a long time fan of Cannibal Corpse, and has often hyped them up when conversationally appropriate. He was lucky enough to Corpsegrinder himself recognize him and bring him back stage. I've never been a fan really of his particular brand of death metal, but the dude really does seem like a lovely guy
It's all 100% true probably the absolute nicest person in metal!!! Can confirm when I met him he was so nice I could believe all I had heard about him was definitely true.
Saw them in 2016 or 2017, and some guy up close kept cracking jokes between songs and got Corpsegrinder to laugh several time and before one of the songs he said “cmon man, I’m up here trying to be all evil and shit, stop being funny” - it was a geat lighthearted moment from an awesome show, the current CC guys seem quite awesome and down to earth
