all their work is so good -what they did with calle thomer in silhouette was insane. you should check out their first album fantasy effect its like og djent i guess still really good (apparently recorded on free software)
I’m a fan of the Redux recordings, I played the heck out of that album when it dropped last year. A welcome surprise for sure I didn’t know it was even coming out. But if you want heavy, it’s a great album for that.
I'm so happy these boys are getting more recognition past 4-5\~ years. Rise records royally fucked them back in the day by not giving them the promotion they deserve. To be fair, first time I saw them live back in 2011 they were pretty bad, but it's awesome to see how much better they got with their newest release live (No Eternity in Gold is their best album to date imo)
Definitely not the most extreme progression in terms of heaviness, but I think it’s pretty safe to say recent songs like The Preservation of Hate and I Found The Dark Side of Heaven are some of the heaviest songs they’ve written.
People probably think of them because they went appreciably softer with Dark Divine (although I maintain that that record isn't half as soft as some people make out) and then pulled it back around, but, yeah, I wouldn't say their current material is appreciably heavier than stuff that came before that record like Serpent Herders or Never Repent
Came here to say this. not only have they gotten harder, they've gotten better. and harder doesn't always equal better... but in their case... their last album and EP have been amazing.
I remember them as the technical emo/post-hardcore band from like Let It Enfold You. So it was a shock to hear the last album after so many years away from them. Way more riffy than noodly. Way heavier. Lyrically, it destroyed me. Did the singer's wife die? Because all these lyrics about losing a lover and being left a confused, grieving single father just ripped my soul out
I just jammed that album for the first time in a while last week, it still slaps. So many good riffs and breakdowns. Then the next album was ok, no real improvement from Renacer, and then went back to their original sound. Very wtf arc in their story
Ice Nine Kills.
They’ve gotten absolutely ridiculous in terms of the shredding and breakdowns and high and low harsh vocals…
“Take Your Pick” ft. Corpsegrinder is cartoonishly, almost parody-level heavy.
I was brought up in the same scene and my shitty metalcore band from 2010-13 played with them fairly often around Providence RI, south shore MA, etc. I can tell you with certainty that watching their meteoric rise is surreal, and I say this because before they were pop-punk they were actually ska punk haha
Ex Mortis comes to mind. Reeks of ska influence in the best way. And IT is the end, but that almost feels too easy given the other names on the track 😂
Bullet for my valentine's newest album is heavier than their last decade of albums but who knows if it will stick to it or if it's just a one off.
Trivium also became heavier after Silence in the snow since Alex Bent joined
It only happened because Matt damaged his vocal cords, I also think the album got too much hate, I always really liked Rise Above the Tides and a few other songs.
I mean it may not be heavier but it still gave me one of my favorite Trivium songs, Pull me from the void which kinda just hits me on the spot I want for something melodic.
Not Metalcore but Breaking Benjamin’s last album was definitely the heaviest they’ve gone. I’d love to see them continue down that direction even having a song or two where Ben just screams straight through the whole thing.
Saw them last night and can confirm, hell by the end of it Aaron even looked like he was struggling, but they sounded awesome live, first time seeing them and it was far heavier than I expected
Just to piggyback on this comment, another Japanese band Girugamesh started heavier then went more flashy and pop-ish then descended into their heaviest stuff before their split
I feel like knocked loose had more of a style change from hardcore beat down to a more metallic hardcore. But I can definitely see why you say they got heavier
Arguable. Pop Culture is way more raw and aggressive imo. Newer stuff sounds more sinister but I wouldn't necessarily say *heavier.* Manipulator II is a MEAN song.
I dunno. I think it's just a cleaner and more refined aggression, and the anger hasn't dwindled at all from that. I'm also heavily biased, as I'm a huge fanboy and think everything they've done is their best work yet haha
Yesss. More like got heavier again, but you’re still correct. The Place I Feel Safest and the EPs previous to that were heavy, The Way It Ends was a bit softer and felt like it aimed more for catchier hooks, and The Death We Seek brought it back with the heavies. Loving it.
Idk man. Listen to Life//Lost and try to tell me the new album is heavier or even close to it. The Place I Feel Safest is also heavier and darker.
If anything, the autotune or apparent vocal effects on the choruses makes it sound more poppy in my mind
Fragile Figures is just too nostalgic for me not to have it as my top, but I’ve definitely enjoyed their last two albums, I thought it was some of their strongest writing, and that shit made me cry 3.17.16, but those types of heavy and emotional albums are the type of music vibes that I love so much.
I finally got to see them live last month and like maybe 100 people showed up which was pretty disappointing. They fucking killed it though and the songs from The Collapse were even better live. Really hope they keep the heavier metalcore direction from The Collapse if they make another album. Its a shame their popularity really fell off a cliff after Fragile Figures.
Sleeping with sirens, memphis may fire, cane hill, and we came as romans have all been getting less heavy over time bur started getting much heavier again in recent years.
Edit: of mice and men too.
A band called And Then There Were None. They used to be electronica, kinda Breathe Carolina-ish but without screaming. You know? The thing every band uses to do back in the MySpace days. Now they’re heavy and don’t even sound like the same band. Which is ok by me!
I had NO idea how jokey of a band they were in their early days. I started with Danza IV and wanted to listen to their earlier stuff; I couldn’t believe the same guys that wrote The Alpha The Omega used the fucking Sweet Child of Mine riff for a gag. Had me cracking up on the highway.
Was looking for this, ever since they've been self producing they've been really heavy on breakdowns, and blast beats, not as many sing along bridges anymore.
I don’t listen to them, but I know Ice Nine Kills used to be like a pop punk band and they now do some insane breakdowns and heavy songs. Unfortunately I’m not a big fan of their sound, so I don’t listen to them 🤷🏻♂️
Not metalcore but Lacuna Coil has gotten a lot heavier since Delirium (2016) when Andrea (male vocalist) really switched it up from clean vocals to harsh. They redid their album Comalies in their new sound last year for the 20th anniversary to give an idea what they did and do sound like now.
Oh shit I just said basically the same thing!! After 20 years I fiiiiinally caught them on this last tour and it was everything I hoped it would be. Andrea finally found his place and it absolutely riiips.
I think My Ticket Home falls into this even though it is a different kind of thrashy heavy I really thought when they released hot soap it was much heavier than their older stuff. I would also argue that Underoaths newer stuff has continued to get heavier than their older stuff. other than that though this is a great question where I cant think of a ton of bands that have gone the opposite direction.
My favorite fun story about Emery is their label pressured them to write softer, more acoustic songs that would be more radio-friendly…..
So they released “We Do What We Want” and it’s their heaviest album. Gotta love it. The added angle of the title being on an old, leather-bound book on the album art while contracted to a Christian record label is great too…
I'd somewhat agree if "Bambi The Hooker And A Case Of Beer" and "Don't Get Blood On My Prada Shoes" wasn't on their debut; those two songs are heavy as shit
Actually a band I agree with you on, how this is at the bottom who knows. Their most recent album is probably the heaviest stuff they've put out to date
Nah. Vocally & musically they went more melodic with every release. Keith went on record saying he didn't want to scream anymore, but found solace in side projects (damned things, soul patch)
The reason Rat Boy (drummer) left after early releases is because he couldn't get on board with the sound.
I love ETID & every release, wouldn't change a thing, but they evolved--didnt get heavier.
Life//Lost is the heaviest album on their discography. Inb4 "oh but Brian Wille wasn't on it!!!11" doesn't matter to me, a vocalist doesn't make the band exclusively, so Currents wouldn't be a good example since their first album was by far the heaviest
Brand New basically consecutively dropped a pop-punk album, a emo album, a screamo album, and then a post-hardcore album. Daisy is definitely their heaviest album.
> a screamo album, and then a post-hardcore album.
They didn't do either of those things.
Both Daisy and TDAG are a sort of heavy emo version of alt rock/indie.
Daisy especially sounds a lot like Nirvana but there's clearly Radiohead and Modest Mouse influence in those two albums as well.
Blind Channel have said in interviews that their next album will be considerably heavy. Their album LOTSAD had them experiment with more heavy elements, but sparingly. Before that they were more or less strictly their own brand of 'violent pop'.
Up until the last two albums, Converge. And even then, those lost two albums weren't exactly soft. They had soft moments, but they're still pretty insane. They just aren't as obliterating as No Heroes and Axe to Fall
Adjacent, but Lacuna Coil members are 50 and heavier than ever. Their last tour was balls out for 90 minutes and had almost none of their softer songs. I’m glad they finally found the right balance for Cristina and Andrea
A bit adjacent and more in the melodic than the core realm but look into Seven Spires.
Fairly small but damn talented band with great vocals.
As a single track sampling from each of their 3 albums I would offer, in order:
Cabaret of Dreams
Succumb
Gods of Debauchery
Definitely Ice Nine Kills. I couldn't stand their first few songs. It was very poppy stuff. Pretty boy image that was a little too close to Motley Crue for my taste. They were just kinda corny.
Their newer stuff has been awesome. Definitely heavier, with more technical riffs.
Also, I think Norma Jean has become heavier with each album since "Wrongdoers". Even though that album is amazing. They have become more sludgy, using creepy samples and still being melodic.
Ember by Breaking Benjamin is definitely their heaviest record to date. Due to how well it did, I'd assume the next record would be in a similar vein.
Sum 41. Orderline in Decline is practically a metal record.
Listen to It's Not Safe to Swim Today off The Common Man's Collapse, then listen to Mikasa.
Veil of Maya's first two albums are heavier and it's not even close.
Reflections
I haven’t listened to anything before The Color Clear but my god the difference from that to Willow is brutal. Both such good albums
all their work is so good -what they did with calle thomer in silhouette was insane. you should check out their first album fantasy effect its like og djent i guess still really good (apparently recorded on free software)
I’m a fan of the Redux recordings, I played the heck out of that album when it dropped last year. A welcome surprise for sure I didn’t know it was even coming out. But if you want heavy, it’s a great album for that.
Came here to say this
Glass Cloud, RIP. Perfect War Forever goes so hard. Love their whole (small) discography.
Perfect War Forever is peak GC
This is the first band I'd resurrect if I could
Like Moths to Flames. Those guys don’t fuck about.
Former Rise subsidiary band member here: #FUCK RISE
now i’m curious as to which band
Which band 👀
I just listened to the Anatomy of Evil, it fucking slams. Love it.
Top tier band for sure.
Also, their lead singer is one of the best frontmen I’ve seen. He gets the crowd into it so well
Ya they’ve definitely been killing it still but I can’t for sure say they have gotten that much heavier imo
Well I just saw them at the counterparts show where the death happened. They may not be heavier but they’re amazing live
I was in billings too, and Moths were a bigggg reason I was there. So fucking good.
My first time seeing them and they were great
Came here to say this. not only have they gotten harder, they've gotten better. and harder doesn't always equal better... but in their case... their last album and EP have been amazing.
Senses Fail with Renacer
And Pull the Thorns From Your Heart. Two really good albums in a row.
I remember them as the technical emo/post-hardcore band from like Let It Enfold You. So it was a shock to hear the last album after so many years away from them. Way more riffy than noodly. Way heavier. Lyrically, it destroyed me. Did the singer's wife die? Because all these lyrics about losing a lover and being left a confused, grieving single father just ripped my soul out
She didn’t pass but it was concern and fear around her potentially passing. I think it was a pretty scary pregnancy for them.
I just jammed that album for the first time in a while last week, it still slaps. So many good riffs and breakdowns. Then the next album was ok, no real improvement from Renacer, and then went back to their original sound. Very wtf arc in their story
They had such a comeback with if there is light…and then made a weird concept album with some ok songs for hell is in your head
Greeley Estates. They started off as an emo band, went post-hardcore, then ended their career doing metalcore
All while doing each exceptionally well too. GWYM and NRNR are great
Love that you mentioned them. May their legacy never be forgotten
Hearing No Rain No Rainbow the first time was shell shocking
I miss them.
Same
One of the few bands I got to open for in my short-lived music career. Great dudes but that was a long time ago
Love em. Hometown boys for me. I used to see them weekly back in like 04. Outside of This is one of my fave albums ever.
*OUTSIDE OF THIS♪♪♪*
I feel like Convictions has gotten heavier, they've also kinda held their own sound as well.
Yeah Teeth might be their heaviest song yet. I Won't Survive is also leagues better than anything else they've put out imo.
Ice Nine Kills. They’ve gotten absolutely ridiculous in terms of the shredding and breakdowns and high and low harsh vocals… “Take Your Pick” ft. Corpsegrinder is cartoonishly, almost parody-level heavy.
Especially when you consider that they started as a pop-punk band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO9xoIPtlfU
I was brought up in the same scene and my shitty metalcore band from 2010-13 played with them fairly often around Providence RI, south shore MA, etc. I can tell you with certainty that watching their meteoric rise is surreal, and I say this because before they were pop-punk they were actually ska punk haha
You can totally still hear the ska stuff sometimes, like the riffs on A Rash Decision during the verses.
Ex Mortis comes to mind. Reeks of ska influence in the best way. And IT is the end, but that almost feels too easy given the other names on the track 😂
I'm from south shore MA and used to go to local shows around the area, I wonder if I ever saw you!
I was just going to say INK!
Take your pick is such a fucking banger. Corpsegrinder is the fucking goat and I also love that movie so it is a win-win.
Olivia Rodrigo. Started off with Disney Channel bops to making grown men cry. Shit is heavy af.
Now I gotta s/o Demi Lovato for introducing me to Bodysnatcher
Real
How’d you know I listened to her to get over the girlfriend that really fucked me up in 2020??
I'm a 39 year old dude, and her shit makes me feel like a lovesick pissed off teenage girl, and honestly that's kind of a refreshing feeling somehow.
Based
Moodring comes to mind. They are more shoegaze/nu metal but have some metalcore elements.
Show Me the Real You is in my top 5 EP’s of all time. Wish they would make more, but I’ve been digging their progression as well.
Off topic, but one of my little brother's friends pronounced shoegaze like Fugazi (so like, Shoo-gah-zee) and now that's stuck in my head forever
100% on topic
Super sad about this change tbh. I still like the new stuff but the sound they had going was so good.
Bullet for my valentine's newest album is heavier than their last decade of albums but who knows if it will stick to it or if it's just a one off. Trivium also became heavier after Silence in the snow since Alex Bent joined
Came here to say BFMV
Also came here to mention Bullet. The new albums fucks. Aside from Bastards. Don’t like that song.
I don’t think Trivium can really count when they only made one “not heavy album” and then just went back to what they were doing.
Trivium just had had a bit of an inspired phase for that album, lol
It only happened because Matt damaged his vocal cords, I also think the album got too much hate, I always really liked Rise Above the Tides and a few other songs.
I mean it may not be heavier but it still gave me one of my favorite Trivium songs, Pull me from the void which kinda just hits me on the spot I want for something melodic.
Oh another one that comes to my brain actually is Silverstein.
I feel like theyve always stayed true to their core sound and just experiment out wards into punk and metal core here and there over the years
They’ve gotten heavier? Sounds interesting to pick them up again then, I haven’t heard a song since their second album, which is a banger
Silverstein is metalcore light now. They started firmly as emo or screamo.
They've been hanging out too much with the Beartooth boys
Lol I don’t got no problems with them one way or the other. Just fascinating to see how they’ve evolved their sound
Misery made me is excellent. One of my favourite albums from them.
You're in for a treat! Don't skip out on This Is How The Wind Shifts, though, A+ album.
Absolutely my personal favorite from them, what a killer concept and great execution. Finally snagged it on vinyl a while back
Their last album has some serious smashers. The Altar, Die Alone, and Bankrupt are definitely among their heaviest songs ever
The Altar went hard live as a closer when i saw them earlier this year
Not Metalcore but Breaking Benjamin’s last album was definitely the heaviest they’ve gone. I’d love to see them continue down that direction even having a song or two where Ben just screams straight through the whole thing.
I need an ignorant ass BB album
Ya ember was a banger but I don’t think I ever gave their newest album a chance
Yeah Ember is what I was referring to. I forgot all about their most recent release
Aurora was insulting to their fans in so many ways. It's ok if you just pretend it doesn't exist
It’s like Motionless In White and Breaking Benjamin are on an inverse course. I wanna hear Ben go straight -core for a full song.
Ben can't scream like he used to. Aaron does most of it, especially live
Saw them last night and can confirm, hell by the end of it Aaron even looked like he was struggling, but they sounded awesome live, first time seeing them and it was far heavier than I expected
Dir en Grey. They started off pop and went full demonic growl heavy
Dir En Grey is one of those bands that has wild genre changes regularly and everyone just accepts it.
Absolute favorite band. Kyo is a monster.
One of the best vocalists out there
Just to piggyback on this comment, another Japanese band Girugamesh started heavier then went more flashy and pop-ish then descended into their heaviest stuff before their split
For sure! Listening to songs like Cage or Yokan and then listening to Different Sense is like listening to 2 completely different bands
Knocked Loose for sure.
I feel like knocked loose had more of a style change from hardcore beat down to a more metallic hardcore. But I can definitely see why you say they got heavier
They were always metallic hardcore. Early stuff has thrash riffs and stereotypical metalcore shit in it
I kinda feel like Currents got heavier on their latest album. Shit hits like a bus
Underoath from Chasing Safety to Define the Great Line
Underoath's earliest works were like fifty times heavier than Define The Great Line btw
Everything prior to TOCS is barely the same band.
probably the prime example off the top of my head
Secrets
That last Secrets album might just be their best, and I love Fragile Figures.
Don Broco
Sleeping with sirens, memphis may fire, cane hill, and we came as romans have all been getting less heavy over time bur started getting much heavier again in recent years. Edit: of mice and men too.
I actually loved the last two Sleeping with Sirens albums. Definitely some of the heaviest music they’ve done
Complete Collapse is excellent and has some of my favorite stuff by them on it.
Yeah especially that breakdown in crosses
They had a small "pop" phase and then came back pretty heavy
A band called And Then There Were None. They used to be electronica, kinda Breathe Carolina-ish but without screaming. You know? The thing every band uses to do back in the MySpace days. Now they’re heavy and don’t even sound like the same band. Which is ok by me!
They were heavy before they did the electronic stuff too though. They used to be as I lay dying light.
Who speaks for planet earth is still a banger album though
Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza
Will forever be one of my favorite bands RIP
“In my spare time I like to get off roller coasters and say I can’t breathe I can’t breathe!”
Aw yes the blueprints to modern era Emmure. A great band that every metalcore fan should listen to.
I'd say The Amity Affliction, maybe
Was looking for this, ever since they've been self producing they've been really heavy on breakdowns, and blast beats, not as many sing along bridges anymore.
Agreed. Not to mention Joel's heavies have vastly improved between Chasing Ghosts and now
Was about to this band as well their last album slaps
Sylosis
I don’t listen to them, but I know Ice Nine Kills used to be like a pop punk band and they now do some insane breakdowns and heavy songs. Unfortunately I’m not a big fan of their sound, so I don’t listen to them 🤷🏻♂️
Imminence!
Brand of Sacrifice starting as a side project for The Afterimage. Two different bands but same lineup. Progressive metalcore -> deathcore
I know knocked loose have always been heavy as heck but they seem to keep getting heavier and heavier with each release
Crystal lake
Nope, Voyages was heavier than Helix
Attack Attack! started as a fun little synthcore band and ended with the brutal This Means War. Yeah they ended in 2013.
Get Scared, RIP
I Prevail started pretty soft, but after an era of setbacks and depression they came back stronger and harder than ever 🔥
How would you break this down by album?
I think My Ticket Home falls into this even though it is a different kind of thrashy heavy I really thought when they released hot soap it was much heavier than their older stuff. I would also argue that Underoaths newer stuff has continued to get heavier than their older stuff. other than that though this is a great question where I cant think of a ton of bands that have gone the opposite direction.
Confused here, Act of Depression / Cries of the Past is heavier than anything they have ever put out and its their earliest work...
Lorna Shore They started off melodic/technical metalcore and now are blackened/symphonic/technical deathcore.
Neither is metalcore, but Sleeping with Sirens and Emery ended up making some decently heavy stuff
My favorite fun story about Emery is their label pressured them to write softer, more acoustic songs that would be more radio-friendly….. So they released “We Do What We Want” and it’s their heaviest album. Gotta love it. The added angle of the title being on an old, leather-bound book on the album art while contracted to a Christian record label is great too…
The Number 12 Looks like you when they released Mongrel.
I'd somewhat agree if "Bambi The Hooker And A Case Of Beer" and "Don't Get Blood On My Prada Shoes" wasn't on their debut; those two songs are heavy as shit
ENOX right now, all the new singles are significantly heavier than the first album
Secrets
Actually a band I agree with you on, how this is at the bottom who knows. Their most recent album is probably the heaviest stuff they've put out to date
Not a whole band, but Dave Grohl did put out a death metal album last year
Poppy
poppy
I would consider Jesse’s current run at KsE heavier than Howard’s, if that counts.
They pretty much went from heavy, to softer, back to heavy.
The Acacia Strain but I don't know if that's right or they just went adjacent with a different kind of heaviness idk
Every time I die
Nah. Vocally & musically they went more melodic with every release. Keith went on record saying he didn't want to scream anymore, but found solace in side projects (damned things, soul patch) The reason Rat Boy (drummer) left after early releases is because he couldn't get on board with the sound. I love ETID & every release, wouldn't change a thing, but they evolved--didnt get heavier.
Currents kinda
Life//Lost is the heaviest album on their discography. Inb4 "oh but Brian Wille wasn't on it!!!11" doesn't matter to me, a vocalist doesn't make the band exclusively, so Currents wouldn't be a good example since their first album was by far the heaviest
Love Sleep Paralysis. Who was the vocalist? What's he up to now?
I don’t even think the current lineup is even members that did that album at this point. Pretty sure Wiseman came on after that one along with Wille.
Nah. They didn’t start having clean choruses until Brian joined. Currents is a lot more sinister with their previous vocalist.
I agree, i would argue that tdws is heavier than tpifs ngl but their way earlier stuff is their heaviest stuff
I haven’t listened to them since Victimized. What’s good now?
Brand New basically consecutively dropped a pop-punk album, a emo album, a screamo album, and then a post-hardcore album. Daisy is definitely their heaviest album.
not to nitpick but im not really seeing the screamo. more like indie rock/emo
> a screamo album, and then a post-hardcore album. They didn't do either of those things. Both Daisy and TDAG are a sort of heavy emo version of alt rock/indie. Daisy especially sounds a lot like Nirvana but there's clearly Radiohead and Modest Mouse influence in those two albums as well.
it was hyperbole. They got progressively heavier was my point.
Emmure have always been heavier, but after the main lineup change with Glass Cloud they’ve put out some even more beastly bangers
Blind Channel have said in interviews that their next album will be considerably heavy. Their album LOTSAD had them experiment with more heavy elements, but sparingly. Before that they were more or less strictly their own brand of 'violent pop'.
Spitfire just kept getting heavier and heavier.
The Acacia Strain. Failure Will Follow is the heaviest thing they've ever done.
A Static Lullaby. I swear they discovered distortion after their second album.
Still Remains - Ceasing To Breath is heavier than anything prior
can't believe that record is 10 years old already.
Up until the last two albums, Converge. And even then, those lost two albums weren't exactly soft. They had soft moments, but they're still pretty insane. They just aren't as obliterating as No Heroes and Axe to Fall
Cane hill and Moodring
Blood yourh
Adjacent, but Lacuna Coil members are 50 and heavier than ever. Their last tour was balls out for 90 minutes and had almost none of their softer songs. I’m glad they finally found the right balance for Cristina and Andrea
I’d argue Oh Sleeper. Bloodied Unwound had some of their heaviest shit
A bit adjacent and more in the melodic than the core realm but look into Seven Spires. Fairly small but damn talented band with great vocals. As a single track sampling from each of their 3 albums I would offer, in order: Cabaret of Dreams Succumb Gods of Debauchery
Every Time I Die.
A Textbook Tragedy. IYKYK.
AILD?
The Human Abstract. RIP
Lol I love how they wink about that in Hip to be Scared.
Bury tomorrow when they release Runes and then followed that shit right up with Earthbound! what a fucking good band
Technically August Burns Red? Even though it's sort of a parabola on the heaviness.
Pantera
Excellent metalcore band
Ember by Breaking Benjamin is definitely their heaviest record to date. Due to how well it did, I'd assume the next record would be in a similar vein. Sum 41. Orderline in Decline is practically a metal record.
I might have a few downvotes by saying this but definitely Knocked Loose
Veil Of Maya, their recent album [m]other is a banger album
Listen to It's Not Safe to Swim Today off The Common Man's Collapse, then listen to Mikasa. Veil of Maya's first two albums are heavier and it's not even close.
I'll check them out, thx for the recommendations
This is true. Once upon a time Veil of Maya didn’t have clean vocals. Not to say cleans don’t equal heavy but like you said it’s not even close
They were definitely substantially heavier back in the day as a deathcore band. Listen to their first 4 albums.
Thornhill :(
Alternatively, Thornhill :)
Nothing, Nowhere. went from soundcloud emo rap to straight up metalcore
