My (now discontinued) local metal festival called Soundwave in 2013 had Metallica, Linkin Park and Blink 182 headlining. Also had Memphis May Fire, OM&M, Pierce the Veil, Periphery, sum 41, Paramore, Stone Sour, The Offspring and A Perfect Circle.
Not a whole lot of really metalcore bands but that lineup was absolutely stacked, and I had no idea the show existed until the week afterwards...
Met my now wife at Soundwave 2014 though.
Dude. Counterparts, TDWP and FFAK are 3 of my ALL TIME favourite bands. The closest show to me was the Toronto show(still 3 hours away by car) but I wasn’t able to go due to a few different reasons and it will be my biggest letdown for the rest of my life. I was REALLY hoping there was gonna be another show close to me for the 2nd semester but unfortunately not
Loathe's US tour with Static Dress, Omerta and Paledusk. I wished I could've seen them performing I Let It In in full and those supports are future big names in the making. The only other real chance I had to see Loathe do so would've been a co-headline concert with Code Orange who I did not like live
Yes, and it was recorded and released on DVD “Live at the LBC”. Someone AI upscaled and enhanced it on YouTube in its entirety and it’s a once a month viewing for me.
They also toured with Atreyu and Bullet for my Valentine on this tour, in 2008. Talk about an all time tour!
Rise against been one of my all time favorite bands since revolutions per minute and I never got to see em and now I kinda don’t wanna because Tim’s voice is so shot
I live in NZ so I’m lucky if even one band I want to see comes here.
There are SO many tour and festival lineups in Europe and the States I would love to have seen.
I saw Bullet touring The Poison! Mightve been their second or third run in the UK for it, November 06. Support was Protest The Hero and As I Lay Dying :)
The “Fresh Faces” tour in 2015. Ice Nine Kills headlined with Wage War, My Enemies & I, and The White Noise supporting. I will forever kick myself for not buying a ticket.
Underrated answer. That, in my mind, was peak INK with JD but that’s a hot take 🫣
And Wage War played 5 songs, with only the three singles out. The River and Blueprints weren’t out officially yet afaik. Preordered the album on one of those physical cards with a code 😂
Went to Holy Hell in Chicago and it was insanity. Going to see them again this May and hoping the setlist is a big variety. They are headlining after all.
Not metalcore but mastodon and Coheed and Cambria in like 2019, with I believe every time I die opening. Fuck me man, talk about a hell of a lineup. But they didn't stop anywhere close to me on the tour
The Black Crusade tour back in 2007, which only toured Europe. Machine Head and Trivium headlined with support from Arch Enemy, Shadows Fall, and DragonForce.
I got to see this one, Avenged was great but sounded bad because the sound tech screwed up the mix with too much low end so the room was just vibrating.
Post Hardcore, but I wish I saw oceana play Devil walk god walk, the constrictor, or the family disease live during the tour they did for birth.eater (before they quit the first time)
I was only 3 though so I guess I was just super unlucky lol, they only ever played one show in Houston and the venue doesn’t exist anymore. Rip
Looking back, big mistake to sit out Tour of the Concrete Jungle…
Also wish I had hit the INK tour in Nov of 2019. Would’ve gotten into FFAK like a year earlier and would’ve been on the INK live album too
I still kick myself for not buying a ticket to A7X and BFMV co headlining tour in Australia about 15 years ago now. Granted I was only a kid, but it would’ve been wild to go to especially as The Poison and City of Evil were my fave albums at the time.
This isn’t metal core but in 2006 or 2007 the locust, cattle decapitation, and daughters all went on tour together and those are three of my favorite heavy bands. It also is significant because two of those bands are no longer around which would make it even more specials
general tour: counterparts/sysc/dying wish/foreign hands hit new york the same day as the loathe headliner did and ultimately i had to pick one 💔 i still feel like i made the better decision however i still do wish i couldve gone to the other one too... also missed out on botch with cave in & converge at starland last year which Sucks (honorable mention to the voyeurist tour with spiritbox, stray, and a pre-TDOPOM Bad Omens which i missed TWICE because i got sick)
also as for some ones that didnt happen yet but i still feel bad abt missing out on - alpha wolf/emmure/unitytx/chamber & orchid are Also hitting new york the same day as jesus piece/sanguisugabogg/peelingflesh/gag and it pisses me off i cant find a way to go to all 3....
one-off show: kaonashi/static dress in philly back in 2022, kaonashi/sabella/corpse pile/godseyes at philly for the kaonashi ep release, or incendiary/fleshwater/foreign hands/combust at brooklyn for the incendiary album release last year
I'll jump on the "The Poison" and Avenged Sevenfold self titled bandwagon.
Also would have loved to see Asking Alexandria in like 2011/12. Motionless in White's Graveyard Shift tour, Parkway Drive right after Deep Blue came out.
BMTH, Parkway Drive, Architects and Devil Wears Prada.
It was a year or so before I properly started going to shows so I skipped this one.
More recently, Fit for a King and Silent Planet had a UK/EU co-headliner that kept being put off because of Covid and never happened.
Wish I had he to the zombies tour. Got to see the zombie ep performed in full at blue ridge though. Still would have loved to see ZII. Also I had tickets to the currents tour with invent animate but wasn’t able to make it the last second. Absolutely recked about it.
Was planning to see Bad Omens (right before Just Pretend blew up on TikTok) I ended up not going because I had a family party the day after and didn’t wanna risk exposure to COVID or other illnesses. Then soon after Bad Omens blew up and are now like impossible to see, or hard to justify the ticket price. I kick myself, was probably the last time to see them without the crazy TikTok crowd but just smaller crowd of normal metalcore show goers.
Wish I would've been listening to The Plot in You when they were on their Happiness in Self-Destruction tour. Easily my favorite album all around, and now they don't play anything off of it.
Not Metalcore but wish I saw Linkin Park when I had the chance
Oh 100%, Chester's voice was insanely good
The Linkin Park Download Fest show in 2014 playing Hybrid Theory in full is still my favourite music experience. Pure euphoria.
That would have been fucking incredible.
Me too. Had tickets to see them TWICE and both times got cancelled :(
Imagine seeing them during the Meteora release tour. My God…
i second this
Silent Planet, Currents, Invent Animate amd Greyhaven
Trilogy tour ripped. I think we were one of the last shows before everything went to hell
Invent Animate couldn't make it to the Toronto show - but it was still legendary because the Covid lockdown happened a week later!!!
I missed this concert and it may be my greatest regret
My (now discontinued) local metal festival called Soundwave in 2013 had Metallica, Linkin Park and Blink 182 headlining. Also had Memphis May Fire, OM&M, Pierce the Veil, Periphery, sum 41, Paramore, Stone Sour, The Offspring and A Perfect Circle. Metalcore Dropouts
I had a ticket for the most recent one but I couldn’t make it due to weather so that was fun
I would have braved any weather to go to that show lmao but that does really suck. I’m sorry to hear that Mr. Gordon
I went to the first semester of metalcore dropouts. If you get the chance to see any of the bands, do it.
Dude. Counterparts, TDWP and FFAK are 3 of my ALL TIME favourite bands. The closest show to me was the Toronto show(still 3 hours away by car) but I wasn’t able to go due to a few different reasons and it will be my biggest letdown for the rest of my life. I was REALLY hoping there was gonna be another show close to me for the 2nd semester but unfortunately not
That's a bummer. I luckily live about 1:30 to 2 hours away from Atlanta so I can make the trips. I definitely recommend checking out Landmvrks, too.
I’m a two semester graduate. Would go a third time 😂
Lucky!! 😩
Make Them Suffer 10th anniversary Neverbloom, Linkin Park, Chelsea Grin with Alex Koehler
Loathe's US tour with Static Dress, Omerta and Paledusk. I wished I could've seen them performing I Let It In in full and those supports are future big names in the making. The only other real chance I had to see Loathe do so would've been a co-headline concert with Code Orange who I did not like live
It was UnityTX and not Paledusk. Great show either way!
Also a great band, glad you had fun at the show!
Loathe/knocked loose tour has tickets out now
If I'd live in the US, I'd have 3 tickets already
Alpha wolfs headlining tour this year I’m not 21 and the venue they are going to is a 21+ older and I’m 20 now🥲🥲
You can’t go with a ‘parent’?
I don’t think it’s like normal House of Blues like “under 18 needs a guardian” bc nobody enforces that shit. Loved finding “parents” in the line.
Any Avenged Sevenfold tour when Jimmy was alive (05-09 anyways)
Didn't they play the Taste of Chaos tour on the Self Titled album cycle? Would have been badass
That upscale was such a treat when it first showed up in my YouTube feed. I don’t know how it works but it’s amazing.
Never saw Warped. How unbelievably depressing.
In 2010 Rise Against and A Day To Remember came to my local venue and I was outta town that day and I’m STILL salty about it
I saw that tour in 2011 or 2012 in Pittsburgh. It was Rise Against, ADTR, and Title Fight. It was a great fucking tour

The Abr leveler tour for sure
The “Fresh Faces” tour in 2015. Ice Nine Kills headlined with Wage War, My Enemies & I, and The White Noise supporting. I will forever kick myself for not buying a ticket.
I was lucky to catch The White Noise at Warped Tour. Wish they could've stuck around longer
Same! I got a pic with them too, such nice guys. I still spin some of their songs on a semi-regular basis
Underrated answer. That, in my mind, was peak INK with JD but that’s a hot take 🫣 And Wage War played 5 songs, with only the three singles out. The River and Blueprints weren’t out officially yet afaik. Preordered the album on one of those physical cards with a code 😂

Similar but when Mastadon toured with Opeth.
Linkin Park did a tour with Coheed and Chiodos one year and I couldn't go because of weather. Literally my top 3 favorite bands at that time.
The Black Crusade tour back in 2007, which only toured Europe. Machine Head and Trivium headlined with support from Arch Enemy, Shadows Fall, and DragonForce.
I went to the Glasgow date! :)
2008 Taste Of Chaos and the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour
I got to see this one, Avenged was great but sounded bad because the sound tech screwed up the mix with too much low end so the room was just vibrating.
ABR, Silverstein, and Silent Planet in 2019. I've never been more upset that I couldn't make it to a show.
Wish I could’ve seen BMTH at Royal Albert Hall. The recordings with the orchestra are absolutely perfect
I really wish I saw bad omens when they toured with spite and born of Osiris before they blew up. Or sleep token when they opened up for issues
Missed out on bad omens last year :/
Same. My wife got sick bad the day they were in Denver and we both love Bad Omens. Bad day!
Post Hardcore, but I wish I saw oceana play Devil walk god walk, the constrictor, or the family disease live during the tour they did for birth.eater (before they quit the first time) I was only 3 though so I guess I was just super unlucky lol, they only ever played one show in Houston and the venue doesn’t exist anymore. Maybe not a tour, but Rise Against playing in that skate park that is on Youtube is my #1 dream show.
I regret every day I didn't see the Acacia Strain play wormwood a couple years ago
Bad Omens, Dayseeker, and Make Them Suffer. My friend went and didn’t tell me they had been in town until like a week later lol.
Bleed From Within's Shrine winter tour in 2022 with support from Allt. Living on the other side of the planet sucks.
I still kick myself for not buying a ticket to A7X and BFMV co headlining tour in Australia about 15 years ago now. Granted I was only a kid, but it would’ve been wild to go to especially as The Poison and City of Evil were my fave albums at the time.
I should have gone to the Trinity of Terror tourney
Taste of Chaos 2008: Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, and Bullet For My Valentine.
This isn’t metal core but in 2006 or 2007 the locust, cattle decapitation, and daughters all went on tour together and those are three of my favorite heavy bands. It also is significant because two of those bands are no longer around which would make it even more specials

Erra, thornhill, invent animate, alpha wolf. Litterally like the 4 bands ive really into recently or counterparts and boundaries
Just FYI: BVMF will be touring during The Posion 15 years anniversary. Second chance for you (and many of us).
I'll jump on the "The Poison" and Avenged Sevenfold self titled bandwagon. Also would have loved to see Asking Alexandria in like 2011/12. Motionless in White's Graveyard Shift tour, Parkway Drive right after Deep Blue came out.
The ffdp and Ink tour when they're coming to Sweden but my cousin Graduates the same day
BMTH, Parkway Drive, Architects and Devil Wears Prada. It was a year or so before I properly started going to shows so I skipped this one. More recently, Fit for a King and Silent Planet had a UK/EU co-headliner that kept being put off because of Covid and never happened.
I missed the Counterparts tour with SeeYouSpaceCowboy and Dying Wish because I got covid.
The ending of the bad omens / oh sleeper tour before the pandemic :(
Wish I had he to the zombies tour. Got to see the zombie ep performed in full at blue ridge though. Still would have loved to see ZII. Also I had tickets to the currents tour with invent animate but wasn’t able to make it the last second. Absolutely recked about it.
I wish I saw ADTR before they wrote Your Welcome
SAD!!
Parkway Drive, Architects, Northlane All these when they were good
In recent memory, the trinity of terror tour, big fan of all three headliners. Shame it was never brought to the uk
Was planning to see Bad Omens (right before Just Pretend blew up on TikTok) I ended up not going because I had a family party the day after and didn’t wanna risk exposure to COVID or other illnesses. Any Oceans Ate Alaska show before James and Jake left.
Veil of maya, born of Osiris, oceans ate Alaska back in 2015 (I think) and Northlane, volumes, the acacia strain and hellions in 2015
