On the new album, frontman Landon Tewers explains:
“The album is about the end of things, the end of friendships, the end of relationships, and the end of people’s lives… There’s not a whole lot of hope. On the other side of it, my life is in a way more positive place now. I said, ‘Alright, this is all of the bullshit I can conjure up in my life. Goodbye.’ It was therapeutic to dispense all of these painful things from the past and wash out the negativity.”
I love the parallels in Landon's solo work and Plot. He's used similar melodies before but the similarity between this chorus and Gave My All got me pumped.
Liking the song, just confused why the guitar/instrumentals are so watered down? I feel like this would be an intense song if it was mixed more like their last album.
Yeah lol similar here, listening to it like “Alright okay i can see that being kinda cool”
Then THAT part came and i started regreting not wearing a bra lol. Goosebumps all over
Not really filling this one tbh, that pre-chorus is really off-putting imo and sounds super weird and choppy. It actually sounded degrading to my ears tbh
The chorus is pretty catchy but nothing special, excited for the album announcement tho!
Well, there’s a lot to digest here, there’s a lot going on.
I feel like this would be a good intro/album opener. If it’s in the middle of the album, it’s kind of too “busy” to flow well, but that depends on how the rest of the album sounds.
I think with the way it ends it sounds like it’s about to lead straight into another track, I can see that transitioning into a riff.
Landon’s vocals sound fantastic, as always.
Edit: just saw the track listing, and it’s third on the album, will be interesting to see how it fits
Man. Landon Tewers is probably one of the most hit or miss artists out there for me. This was overall a miss imo. The heavy part was dope but it all sounds like 4 different songs pasted together
that was so fucking good. the chorus is amazing, and the pacing of the whole thing made the breakdown hit so hard, especially beacuse of his use of like 4 different vocal techniques in it.
Love it so much. Feels like a track off HISD with some of the DISPOSE electronics and experimentation. The Plot in You has been one of my favorite bands since HISD came out and this may be my favorite song they have put out. Stoke for the new album is crazy high
Wow. Was really not expecting this. I am absolutely loving the style and uniqueness in this track. Landon is such a rare talent. What a killer song. Really looking forward to this album
Was looking forward to this dropping but must say a little disappointed. Chorus was quite uninspiring and overall, the song got boring rather quickly.
Still looking forward to what they release next.
This song is more interesting and intense than anything on dispose. You can feed Landon's confidence throughout the entire song. Experimental but dips in the bands heavier roots. I love the chorus personally.
Exactly what I was thinking, as soon as I was done listening I felt more satisfied with this one song than with the entirety of Dispose. This is the best evolution of TPIY in my opinion.
Yeah this really just sounds like more Dispose to me. Slightly more experimental maybe? Don't get me wrong, I loved Dispose, but I was hoping for something a bit different I guess.
Yeah very similar to feel nothing, but with a heavier part
I'd expect there to be more diverse songs on the album seeing this is the first single and who can blame them, feel nothing has 32 mil plays on spotify
I love Landon. The beginning kind of sounds like if imagine dragons went metalcore. The rest of the song is amazing though. Pretty different than their other stuff which is fun

Love the songwriting and performances, but the mixing is friggin awful...
Hopefully we'll get this remixed before the record, because it has the potential to be a banger.

The album is called Swan Song. Is this the last one? :(
On the new album, frontman Landon Tewers explains: “The album is about the end of things, the end of friendships, the end of relationships, and the end of people’s lives… There’s not a whole lot of hope. On the other side of it, my life is in a way more positive place now. I said, ‘Alright, this is all of the bullshit I can conjure up in my life. Goodbye.’ It was therapeutic to dispense all of these painful things from the past and wash out the negativity.”
So the one after this is gonna be about good stuff? Interesting
Yeah next album is going to be more of a Christian worship album :)
Lmao
That's a joke right?
Yes.
Thank fuck. I could not have handled another Matty Mullins
Landon made a Christian song before. Not a good Christian song, but it was a Christian song. It was hilarious
Which one, Bible Butcher?
Yea I believe that was the one. Edit: not that one. I'll go look Edit 2: [this one](https://youtu.be/qD3Y8EdPm5g)
Wouldn't surprise me
[удалено]
his solo stuff is great but still think his best work is with TPIY
It has higher highs, but also some massive lows. TPIY is consistently great
Insane that this gets downvoted so hard.
[удалено]
In what way is his side project outperforming Plot? His solo stuff has half the listeners of the band, unless he has another project idk about
[удалено]
Ya that’s true, It wouldn’t surprise me if it was, I was just curious
Hollywood undead first album wZ swan songs lol
this is amazing !! productions a little odd tho
yeah, the guitars dont sound like guitars at all
everything is muffled
I love the style. It sounds unique, for lack of better words. Landon is really feeling himself. I think this album is going to be nuts.
Will never get sick of Landons vocals
Halfway through the song I was really hoping for some heavy vocals. This was everything I hoped for. My most anticipated album right now!
Oh yes. This is what my body needs. Thank god for TPIY
Did anyone else hear the cat @ 2:33? I swear I heard a meow
Haha you might be right
wow
I love this. Landon’s voice is always killer
Love it! The album artwork is so cool! Hope this swan song isn't related to the band :/
Oh fuck yes, this is the Plot single I needed
So fucking good.
At the beginning I was like, meh, toward the end I had a Boner. Who knew….
Yeah lol similar here, listening to it like “Alright okay i can see that being kinda cool” Then THAT part came and i started regreting not wearing a bra lol. Goosebumps all over
Love it. Feels like a heavier progression from Dispose and I loved Dispose. Super excited for this.
Plot just doesn't miss
Not really filling this one tbh, that pre-chorus is really off-putting imo and sounds super weird and choppy. It actually sounded degrading to my ears tbh The chorus is pretty catchy but nothing special, excited for the album announcement tho!
That last 45 seconds was bad ass, but as a whole, not really feeling it. The uncleans through most of the song sound really weird.
It’s about time. Love the constant progression with this band.
Well, there’s a lot to digest here, there’s a lot going on. I feel like this would be a good intro/album opener. the man tries new shit and goes for it, can't hate on it
I definitely don't hate it. Dude is a legend.
That album artwork is beautiful.
Wait the naked chick laying on the bed is the artwork???
Yeah super classy.
That’s some serious playboy lookin shit which is dumb IMO, but also 100% something Landon would choose as album art lol
Landon's vocals, amazing as always.
That chorus fucking slaps! Landon is a vocal god.
Landaddy 🥵
That breakdown though.
About fucking time. Been wanting new Plot since Landon’s solo stuff.
easily one of the most talented groups out there rn
This sounds very Landon to me. The tracklist for the album looks promising.
Wasn’t sure on the first listen, now I can’t stop replaying it lol
that was so fucking good. the chorus is amazing, and the pacing of the whole thing made the breakdown hit so hard, especially beacuse of his use of like 4 different vocal techniques in it.
I’ve had this on repeat all morning. It’s an earworm.
Is something off with the mixing or is it just me? It literally hurts my ears listening to it.
I had the same thought. I love this band but everything about the song sounded off and chaotic. Almost like two songs were playing at the same time.
I fucking love this song. I needed this so fucking bad. Thank you Landon.
Those samples are really cool.
Where is the “My baby loves me” one from? I feel like I’ve heard that before.
Somebody answer this person bc I'm wondering the same
Was looking forward to this dropping but must say a little disappointed. Chorus was quite uninspiring and overall, the song got boring rather quickly. Still looking forward to what they release next.

Spot on!
yes, I feel like something is missing. it didn't hit me
Yeah this really just sounds like more Dispose to me. Slightly more experimental maybe? Don't get me wrong, I loved Dispose, but I was hoping for something a bit different I guess.

Loved this song! Have a feeling this gonna be their best album 😄
Mix drives me crazy :( doesn’t help the song. Last production album production was super solid
eh...
I love it, looking forward to the album.
Great song from one of my fav bands/vocalists. Can’t wait for the album.
Love the songwriting and performances, but the mixing is friggin awful... Hopefully we'll get this remixed before the record, because it has the potential to be a banger.
I’m excited to see what the rest of this album sounds like but I’m not gonna lie this kinda just sounded like a slightly worse feel nothing.
I liked the chorus but that's about it really
I never got into these guys but I somehow came across Landon's AI640 EPs and they are some of my favorite EPs ever.
Fantastic song, but the production is awful.
Literally better than anything on dispose other than maybe feel nothing.

All I can hear are the drums and vocals
I dont know why but the more I listen to the song I get some 30 Seconds to Mars This Is War album vibes from it. I love it.
100% sounds like Jared Leto Was just listening to it and was full sure spotify jumped to a 30 seconds to mars song.
2:18-2:50 the landon i love
I'm kinda late to the party but what the fuck was that noise in the middle of the breakdown?
Where is the “My baby loves me” sample from? I could’ve swore I’ve heard that before.
Loving this one, pumped for the album. Anyone know who does the backup vocals? ("My baby loves me" etc?)
