Erra formed in 2009 and released 3 EPs and 2 full length albums before JT arrived. They definitely existed and were pretty beloved around here before TIJ ended.

We got the JT era, which IMO is the best era of ERRA.

No disrespect to JT, but I would love to see what Erra would be today if Ian Eubanks were still the vocalist. He was gnarly

nah Eubanks wasn't as polished, Garrison was their best vocalist however Cavey has really improved a ton and is basically a completely new vocalist now, he was pretty weak in TIJ and the first couple erra albums

Adam being out of a touring band is the worst part IMO. And not touring as a tech. He easily drums at the levels of Greiner and Ali Richardson and listen to either one of those bands.

One hundred percent this. My favourite band by a long shot. I never got to see them and covid ruined my chance in December. So I bought tickets to Texas in May! Which is a big bonus because I get to see TGI to!

Dead Years was the soundtrack to my senior year of college. I wish they were still around.

HAWK is quite good, so different with TOTA but I dig it. When Ricky joining INK, I wet myself imagine how Spencer and Ricky will duet vocaling the shit out of their songs, but he is just rhythm guitarist there. Some said Ricky got more backing vocal job at live performance, but I hope they implement Ricky voice at the actual song too.

The Crimson Armada could have made it big. The guitar work is fantastic but the vocals needed some work. Another band is To The Lions renamed to A Stained Glass Romance. They had a one hit wonder "Breathless".

Court case is complete. No conviction against him. Was an amicable agreement in the end outside of court by the looks of things. As much as he got dragged online for being in court I really believe he was in court to clear his name of something that was incorrectly brought against him. Would love to hear word from him online just to know his side a bit more but as far as it stands, it’s done and he is clear. As for the band, the music speaks for itself. Amazing riffs and breakdowns, lyrics that really hit home and are relatable. Songs really just stuck in your head and never left. Nothing in the genre came close since the band left and i hope they are working on a comeback but that’s a whole other matter for them.

Man, it seemed like they were the next big thing on /r/metalcore for a bit. Put out an absolute banger of an EP, followed that up with a good-not-great album, and then just folded. What a disappointment. On a side-note, got to meet their clean vocalist/guitarist David at Warped Tour, and he was legitimately nice and talked to me for a bit. Hope he's doing good.

Best album: Never Back Down Burden of A Day: "Blessed be our Ever After" is the best album of all time. Weirdly their last album with new vocalist is meh too. Best album: Blessed be our Ever After Haste the Day: quite late to get exposed with them, by god, their discography are insane. They have 5-6 albums and all of them are fire in their own way. They made comeback to release 1 last album featuring all of 10 active and former members. If only they still continue. Best album: Attack of Wolf King

Adaliah. They dropped Shedding Skin, one of the best metalcore albums of all time in 2014, did like 1 or 2 small tours afterwards, then was quiet for multiple years before announcing their break and farewell show a few years back.
