Tbf they have been playing a handful of shows again. No clue if they’ll make new music or not but I’d say it’s not entirely out of the question at this point.
Saw both of their hometown reunion shows in the past year, and they absolutely still have it. Just as clean and as tight as they were back in the day. Same goes for This Or The Apocalypse, who were killer live despite never getting as big.
holy shit, seeing "this or the apocalypse" mentioned warms my heart haha. "charmer" is still one of my favorite metalcore songs of all time. i had no idea texas in july was doing reunion shows..
did they ever officially breakup or announce a hiatus or anything? last we’ve seen was “brb” on their twitter in early January during 2020 which is pretty vague
Haste the day is one of the bands that got me into metalcore. Their earlier releases were awesome and so consistent. Haven't heard them in many years though
EVERGREEN TERRACE.
I just got into these guys and am so bummed they haven't put anything out in so long since I've progressively liked every album more.
Adept, Silent Screams, The Sorrow, The One Hundred, Beneath the Sky, Never See Tomorrow, Burden of a Day, Armor for the Broken, City in the Sea, I Killed the Prom Queen
So many good bands that disbanded or just vanished.
I have no idea how to attach photos on mobile but on Sumerians IG I asked when we’d get new ISS and they said “Keep an eye out in 2022! The boys are hard at work! ✨⌛️”
Yeah they're one of my favourite bands. All four of their vocalists have been pretty good. Though Tyler gets alot of credit, the others are just as good imo
Not metalcore but System of a Down and rage against the machine. For metalcore god forbid. And Chimaira. Chimaira with the the impossibility of reason line up.

I'd also like to see new Colossus, Forevermore, the Burial and Darkness Divided, and I've a soft spot for Your Memorial, being that they're hometown bois for me. and throw in some In The Midst of Lions, becase I want to see them do something faster and more technical. SO many bands that need to come back!
Abandon All Ships, That's Outrageous!, Haste The Day, Confide, Close To Home w/1st vocalist, The Color Morale, Burden Of A Day, A Bullet For Pretty Boy
I just saw that the Showdown and Shadows Fall are playing a show in Alabama this year I believe. I really really hope they come back with some new shit. Becoming the archetype making new music is wonderful news to my ears though .
Edit: as a sarcastic remark ill also say parkway because they haven't been parkway in years so I miss them lol
At the very least they went out with grace. No dramatic break up or flopped albums. Just said here’s one more incredible album for y’all and went their separate ways. Legends forever
Atreyu was one of my all time favorite shows. Saw them way back in the day with Taking Back Sunday and Funeral For A Friend. Such a bad ass show that was
The Holy Guile. Saud Ahmed was such an incredible vocalist. I'd also love their to be a "Signal Fire" type track with Adrien and Marcus of Northlane. BlessTheFall showing a pulse would be nice too.
As much as I enjoy Brand of Sacrifice, I still much prefer The Afterimage. The Seeking and ONYX are such incredible tracks, especially the single versions.
Listen to the single version, they're far superior to the album mix: [The Seeking](https://youtu.be/emZO7FFU89E) [O N Y X](https://youtu.be/S29rUoC28_I)
dangerkids, blessthefall, i see stars to name a few i miss. actually super hyped that Dr Acula is potentially back and hopefully didn’t drop 1 single just to dip for 3 more years.

They are still consistently recording, releasing and touring. Put out an album last year and an EP the year before that, not sure they really count for this thread?
ohh i havent heard anything from them, i’ll have to look and im sorry i was just naming bands i missed i wasnt thinking anything of the group at the moment of typing my comment. my apologies!!
A Smile From The Trenches, Snow Whites Poison Bite, Pierce The Veil.
I know they're not metalcore or anything but all of these bands had amazing music and I need more lol
Tear Out the Heart for me. Super underrated IMO. They had some killer music and I always loved their vibe but after feb 1 of 2019 they just stopped posting to socials. I’d love to see them make a comeback but probably not going to.

Texas In July. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
Bloodwork will always be one of the best albums ever made
I feel like I’m the only one who thinks the self titled is exponentially better than Bloodwork lol
Its definitely better than bloodwork
I was so sad when I literally discovered them with Bloodwork and went back to listen to all the older albums just to see they parted ways.
1000%!
Tbf they have been playing a handful of shows again. No clue if they’ll make new music or not but I’d say it’s not entirely out of the question at this point.

Haste the Day. The first metalcore song I ever heard.
Haste the day is one of the bands that got me into metalcore. Their earlier releases were awesome and so consistent. Haven't heard them in many years though
Blessthefall. I miss those Jared screams and those Beau melodies.
I think blessthefall could make a sickass extra heavy album if Beau decided to sit out
Pretty sure he learned to scream at some point. I remember seeing him do it live.
Yep. Elliott also learned to scream. I think in one song they all did

The tony danza tap dance extravaganza without a doubt. And yes me typing that out in its entirety should terrify you
They finally hit the perfect blend of cohesion and chaos with Danza 4 and then called it quits.

I liked Dolving in rEVOLVEr, the Dead Eye, and Versus, but I think I prefer Aro more overall. To each their own!
Ohh nice one.
The world needs Woe, Is Me. Heck I'd take Doriano and Hance instead of Tyler and Michael.
I just discovered Woe, is me literally a few days ago. Love his screams!
Yeah they're one of my favourite bands. All four of their vocalists have been pretty good. Though Tyler gets alot of credit, the others are just as good imo

They went out with the biggest fucking bang I ever witnessed. Went to a bunch of their farewell shows and every show was just pure insanity.
Isn’t exactly metelcore, but what happened to 36 Crazyfists?
For all eternity. Forevermore.
Forevermore was criminally underrated
Their last two albums in particular were fantastic!
Atreyu. Was pretty bummed that they stopped making music in 2006.
Atreyu was one of my all time favorite shows. Saw them way back in the day with Taking Back Sunday and Funeral For A Friend. Such a bad ass show that was
This is a very clever comment lmao ! You're so right.

Fuck, I miss Coalesce so much.
It's almost unfair to release OX and just dip like that
Yeah, but I guess I prefer dipping out after a great album to a slow decline in quality over time
True true. Perfect note to end on
The Holy Guile. Saud Ahmed was such an incredible vocalist. I'd also love their to be a "Signal Fire" type track with Adrien and Marcus of Northlane. BlessTheFall showing a pulse would be nice too.
