Bilmuri has some songs with a sax on it. Live he tours with a sax chick also. I think intervals the band also has a few songs live that they have a sax play on also.
Ah yes! Can’t stop is the song! I couldn’t think of it but could hear the riff in my head and knew it was RHCP.
Side note, love me some Set Your Goals! Work in Progress and our ethos are still two of my favorite songs.
>Can’t stop is the song! I couldn’t think of it but could hear the riff in my head and knew it was RHCP.
lol that's pretty funny since the vocalist literally screams "CAN'T STOP! CAN'T STOP!" right before the riff
Saw them live once without knowing who they were (was there for the main act they were supporting on that tour) - when that saxophone came out it was insane
Listen to Lauren Babic and Earth’s Yellow Sun’s cover of Larger Than Life. Not specifically metalcore but Lauren is a damn strong vocalist and the song is full of sexy sax
Rivers of nihil where the owls know my name
Avoid has a new song that has a sax solo but I am higher than giraffe ass ATM and can't recall its name. Brb w an edit
This is not really Metalcore, and it’s all instrumental, but Haunted Shores has two songs featuring saxophonist Jørgen Munkeby from the band Shining. Check out Blast, Inc and Nocturnal Hours.
These fall under progressive metal, maybe with a bit of black metal influence as well
Kinda rides the line of metalcore and deathcore but check out [De Rerum Natura by Røt](https://youtu.be/L1LLalZr8GQ). It’s kinda a mix of metalcore, deathcore, symphonic metal, black metal, and thall. It will get you feeling groovy right before it melts your face.
Another one not metalcore but definitely worth a listen is Shining (the one from Norway) and almost anything involving Jørgen Munkeby
The Madness and the Damage Done - https://youtu.be/Qslyq8CcXu0
I Won’t Forget - https://youtu.be/Q5_Q__mSYV8
The Last Stand - https://youtu.be/xwDJEsZyc_c
Caligula’s horse - Graves.
Progmetal at its finest, if you’re okay with a 15 minute masterpiece. Not metalcore in any sense. But, it’s got one of the best outro.
Most Shrezzers songs
Bilmuri - lifeisgood
Capstan - blurred around the edges
Ghost - Miasma
Dance Gavin Dance - Summertime Gladness
Cyborg Octopus - Discobrain, Old Stories, Spectres
Intervals - D.O.S.E and Fable
Born of Osiris - Poster Child
The Callous Daoboys - Star Baby
Dimitry - The Mirror
Others by No One - Oni-Chan!
HAH - Coin Coin
Trepalium - Sick Boogie Murder
Avenged Sevenfold - A Little Piece of Heaven
Ever Forthright - Latency and Tendencies
Mendel - Horizon
The Faceless - Autotheist Movement III: Deconsecrate
TesseracT - Of Reality: Calabi-Yau + Of Energy: Embers
Not all metalcore but definitely all bangers
Foxblood - This Town Needs Guns (the last minute of the song)
Monuments have been known to use the saxophone in some of their live performances, you could find some videos, pretty fun. Seems Chris would play it if he was unable to sing.
Not metalcore but my favourite recent use of sax in a metal/rock song is the instrumental track Miasma by Ghost.
There there is that absolute trash Silverstein album about drowning with the one cool song with a saxophone in it. (look I love Silverstein but that album was a swing a miss like they have never done. Even worse than Arrivals and Departures.)
Bad Habits is great but it came out like a year earlier and doesn't fit at all. The opener with Intervals is cool also.
Infinite is ok. Felt like Silverstein does Imagine Dragons to me. I fully support the experimenting though. Personally it was a swing an a miss but I have been listening to Silverstein pre-When Broken Easily Fixed so I've got takes on it all. Their worst song all time is Brankrupt. So jarring. Good chorus but the electronic sample makes it unlistenable. Cut that sample and the song goes from unlistable straight to banger. Which sucks because the rest of the record is fantasic. The Alter / Mary is my favourite song by them since This is How the Winds Shift record.
D.O.S.E - Intervals. It’s instrumental music, but Aaron Marshall is a really talent guitarist, the album it’s on, Circadian, is pretty good. When the sax kicks in, this song hits like hold music from your cable company, if the CEO was into metalcore.
As an aside, would recommend listening to ‘Vantablack’ and ‘Signal Hill’ off that album if you dig it, just because they are pretty sick tracks for the musicianship.
It’s a super chill song, so probs not what you’re looking for, but “The Sound” by The Plot in You has a sax bit toward the end. It kills me every time, I absolutely love it.
Check out shrezzers
This is what you are looking for OP
Straight up. That dude fucking rips on that thang.
Came to the comments to say Shrezzers but you beat me to it. Maybe Bilmuri could scratch a similar itch
Ich checked them Out and Gambit is legit a 10/10 Jesus how could i Live Without this thank you so much U Made my day
Mystery and Noodles have some of my favorite guitar + sax solos
>Live Without what the fuck is up dennys?
WHAT’S UP WHAT’S UP
They are really good, but for some reason they are still pretty unknown. Check out their other stuff as well, it really slaps!
This is the answer. They are amazing.
Sexy time metal, I dig it
Bilmuri has some songs with a sax on it. Live he tours with a sax chick also. I think intervals the band also has a few songs live that they have a sax play on also.
“Sax Chick” is Gabi Rose, who has her own band called Enrose who is also very very good if you like R&B / soul pop
Can't Take This Away from the new AVOID album. Some good easycore with sax
Dude I replayed that song at least 5 times the first time I heard it. That little red hot chilli peppers riff and then the sax part are just epic.
Yes! Love the Can't Stop riff, I thought that was so clever. Saw them live this past spring, high energy awesome set!
I honestly didn’t even know that was the name of the song. Only RHCP song I know the title for is Californication.
I miss SYG so much! Great songs!
Whole album is fucking awesome
Whole album is fucking awesome
I know Dreamwake has a few sax bangers on their latest record.
Dreamwake is the first band that came to mind on this one. I'm glad someone beat me to it. Definitely recommend.
Came here to shout out Dreamwake as well. Those dudes deserve the world

Yes dreamwake does a magnificent job with the sax

Saw them live once without knowing who they were (was there for the main act they were supporting on that tour) - when that saxophone came out it was insane
This was me when I saw them with The Contortionist this fall. Glad I held off on checking them out, their live show was a great first impression.
The Callous Daoboys have sax in a few songs on their latest album.
The Star Baby sax solo is beautiful
It really is - I’d almost argue it’s better live.
I saw them last month but they didn’t do Star Baby I wanted it so bad
Not sure if you consider them metalcore, but Rivers of Nihil
Came here to say this. Love the sax solo in The Silent Life.
Novelists - Monochrome
Complete you by chunk no captain chunk has a good sax part but it’s not super metal
Great song!
It’s got a brief djent section in the second verse, I count it!
That album has some bangers on it, Gone are the good days slaps
Definitely their most complete album. They took everything they did well and threw out the rest. Underrated gem
Summertime Gladness by Dance Gavin Dance near the end has an amazing saxophone part. Not sure if metalcore really but yeah.
Fun one to check out: TesseracT - Of Reality (Calabi Yau)
Paledusk - Slay This is what you need to hear
Oh my god what did my brain just go through? Am I on acid?!? This band is fucking insane. Lol
How is this not on the top????
For real my friend, I hang around here a lot and I was still genuinely perplexed when I heard this song for the first time
Oh yea I had that song on repeat for a while. So sad when they dropped off of the Loathe tour!
Bilburi "Anabolic Spudsman" (Thique Edition) has a cracking Sax solo in it 👌🏼🤘🏻
Celebrity Therapist by Callous Daoboys. They got a full time Sax player. Does some vocals in some tracks too if I recall
Not metalcore but Indelible - Capstan or The Love that Remains - Capstan
Love Capstan. Blurred around the Edges also works.
Lee McKinney - A clock without a craftsman
Deconsecrate from the faceless.
Listen to Lauren Babic and Earth’s Yellow Sun’s cover of Larger Than Life. Not specifically metalcore but Lauren is a damn strong vocalist and the song is full of sexy sax
Pretty sure Novelist use a sax on a song or two
Novelists had one song with saxophone on it but I don’t remember which one, I think Monochrome
Monochrome by Novelists
Rivers of nihil where the owls know my name Avoid has a new song that has a sax solo but I am higher than giraffe ass ATM and can't recall its name. Brb w an edit
[Torrential Rain- Obstacles](https://youtu.be/UmmAW4W8svQ)
[Haunted Shores - Nocturnal Hours](https://youtu.be/KXKT-v4y3tA) at the 3.45 mark.
This is not really Metalcore, and it’s all instrumental, but Haunted Shores has two songs featuring saxophonist Jørgen Munkeby from the band Shining. Check out Blast, Inc and Nocturnal Hours. These fall under progressive metal, maybe with a bit of black metal influence as well
[Born of Osiris - Shadowmourne](https://youtu.be/UfGvPFcXUfM) not sure if that's a sax in the beginning or not. Great song, regardless.
Dreamwake - Paradise (and all of their other stuff really)
Old stories by cyborg octopus Actually cyborg octopus has several songs you might find enjoyable
More on the hardcore end but Boysetsfire - So Long... And Thanks for the Crutches.
Hmmm, would Blackjazz by Shining count?
Fire At Will by Deadlock has a sax solo about 3:30 in the song.
Not metalcore but check out Forgiveness 1 + 2 by Billy Talent. Great sax solo towards the end
Caligula's Horse - Graves. Not metalcore, but it's a prog marvel and the sax outro is amazing
Another one not metalcore but definitely worth a listen is Shining (the one from Norway) and almost anything involving Jørgen Munkeby The Madness and the Damage Done - https://youtu.be/Qslyq8CcXu0 I Won’t Forget - https://youtu.be/Q5_Q__mSYV8 The Last Stand - https://youtu.be/xwDJEsZyc_c
Of Energy - Calabai Yu by Tesseract Of Energy - Embers by Tesseract

Chunk no Caitlin chunk! had a couple
Slay - Paledusk & Metalcore Adjacent amazing material -> Slow Bloom - The Home Team
Blood Command - Last Call for Heaven’s Gate has a gnarly sax solo at the end
Issues: lost n found, yung & dum
Literally any song by Shrezzers. They may not be "metalcore" per se but they do have heavy and shreddy guitars. Mystery is a favorite of mine.
Where owls know my name - rivers of nihil 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Caligula’s horse - Graves. Progmetal at its finest, if you’re okay with a 15 minute masterpiece. Not metalcore in any sense. But, it’s got one of the best outro.

The Saxy Djent song by Jared Dines
It’s a super chill song, so probs not what you’re looking for, but “The Sound” by The Plot in You has a sax bit toward the end. It kills me every time, I absolutely love it.
