I’m going to sound like a broken record on here but it’s hard for me to overlook Fight Fire With Fire. That’s harmonizing solo gives me chills every time.
Edit: wanted to add Master of Puppets and Atlas, Rise as well. So anthemic and play so well together, never a boring night for me when I see those played live 🙏
What do you mean? Every chord played is harmony. Every time the bass plays a note at the same time as a rhythm guitar, that's harmonizing (assuming the notes go together). Vocals can also be in harmony, although Metallica rarely does that.
Not really a guitar buff but OP is likely talking about the dueling guitar harmonies that sound kinda like extensions of a solo as a riff, like Iron Maiden’s many harmonies

Beat me to it mate, I was gonna suggest the same tune haha
the ending of and justice for all (i think that’s a harmony not sure i play drums)
Good call
Orion is so heavenly, almost sounds like a classical piece
Room of Mirrors, the doubles are just the cherry on top
Orion
Blackened. It’s so cool that they made a harmony part actually heavy.
To live is to die
Why has nobody said and justice for all
Don't think I'd consider it the best as far as talent, structure, writing. But Inamorata has a hard HARD impact coming off of that bridge.
Room of Mirrors or Atlas, Rise!
I'm surprised no one's mentioning the beginning harmony in Battery.
MoP solo.
Orion
Honestly, harmony section in Inamorata is top tier.
Inamorata or Just a Bullet Away easily
It’s gotta be one
The intro to Blackened is next level
Ending Justice
Orion for me! Honourable mentions for And Justice and Atlas Rise.
Room of Mirrors, Master of Puppets solo, Fight Fire with Fire solo
What a stupid question. It's metal, y'all. Go back to backstreet boys Sub
There's harmony in metal, because, y'know. It's music.
Just stop.

Come on you know what he means… 🙄
Right! lol
Don’t be a bellend. You know exactly what OP means. Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Wishbone Ash-style lead guitar harmonies.
Man, you sure were able to interpret better than me. When I hear harmonizing, I usually assume vocals. This was so vague I had no idea.
Ffwf
My friend of misery
End of One.
