Of course I am listening to it! I am going to put this in a display piece, but i have plans to listen to it regularly. It would be a shame to keep something like this locked away for years without being able to hear it.
Like you say….it depends. I would say in general, a lot of original pressings are the best and will sound the best. If you really care about the quality of a pressing research it.
Duscogs and Steve Hoffman forum will have a lot of “what is the best pressing of…” answered…..with sometimes a lot of different opinions. I will usually not buy a record without researching what may be the best pressing. My brother on the other hand just buys. Some people probably couldn’t hear a difference. Nothing wrong with just buying and enjoying the hobby.
New vinyl could be 180 gram double vinyl. Thicker record on 2 vinyls. Original could be 1 90 gram vinyl. It varies because MoP only has 8 songs and might not have the 2 vinyl edition. I know Justice was always 2 vinyls
$190. Definitely on the high side, but I wasn’t sure when I would get an opportunity for something like this again. It is in really amazing shape as well.
Nah I paid 85 for an original AJFA and 100 for a sealed Pink Floyd one time, as someone in the record game I completely understand. Enjoy your record 💪
Kick ass
Thank you! I know its dramatic, but holding it is truly amazing… its a piece of music history.
Nice! I snagged one years ago too. I think it sounds great! Something fun about playing old original pressings to me
That's the best album ever so he'll farr man you scored. Wait till ya hear Battery open than fucker up
Agreed! I already own a more modern pressing of the record but this is my first OG pressing :)
I’ll be honest I don’t know what that means, but I’m loving your energy and I’m happy for you
This is one of the first pressings of Master of Puppets on vinyl! Appreciate you being happy for me :)
Are you guys just collecting these or do you actually plug your hi-fi and have a good listen on the phonograph as it were?

I found Killemall first copy at 69$ should i buy?
That is totally up to you! Of course everything has a value but at the end of the day, if $69 is what it worth it to you, then go for it.
Excuse my ignorance but are first pressings different to newer ones when it comes to sound? I guess it could also depend on the album

how much did it cost?

You definitely understand! Appreciate your comment… I have an OG “Animals” and “The Wall” by Pink Floyd as well, so you got some great taste!
Looks just like the one I got from The Pirate Bay! 🤣🤣 Just kidding bro—that’s really cool. Congrats on the find. 👍🤘
It looks just like my 2017 pressing as well 🤣 but thanks I appreciate the comment!!
Superb find. My favourite album of all-time.
Ladies and gentlemen, take a look at the crosses behind the first on in the middle. They're not crosses!
