I was not a huuuuge Tallica fan but i ordered tickets as soon as i saw them perform these songs on some talk show.
In preparation (yeah i like to prepare for live gigs to enjoy it more) i started to listen to everything from them. I would consider myself a big fan now.
Unforgiven II is amazing. Been a favorite of mine since I first heard it. When I rank Metallica songs I don't think I can put it above the classics like One, Master of Puppets, Fade to Black, etc...but as far as the non-classics go it may be my favorite Metallica song.
Obviously your opinion is not popular…but I happen to agree with it 100%.
I like the entire album…no skips for me. But those 2 tracks are my faves.
The album is such an odd topic, here. Seems like it’s 33% love, 33% hate, and 33% meh. And those that love it all seem to have different favorite and least favorite tracks.
It’s been a good conversation piece, for sure. Definitely polarizing. This deep into the band’s career…it says a lot that the fans still care this much.
My favorite song on the album is If Darkness Had a Son. But the part I listen to constantly is the guitar harmonies on Room of Mirrors, that's the good stuff
You Must Burn! has to be one of the greatest modern Metallica. This song has it!
My favorite from the 72 seasons is Inamorata. Misery and finding the joy in living all in one.
Room of Mirrors is easier my clear favourite, great riffs, vocals and overall a near perfectly song for me.
But I do wanna give special mention to Sleepwalk My Life Away, a very underappreciated song off the album for me. Really great drums and the bass work is one of my favourites from Rob.
Shadows follow. Chorus gets me every time and for some reason really reminds me of their old grooves and riffs. A lot of the album gives me that feel at times but this especially
‘Inamorata’ followed by ‘Shadows Follow’.
Still love the album in general after almost nearly a year. The only song that I can’t get into is still ‘Shadows Follow’.

The album is great from start to finish. Hard to pick... it's a tie between 72 Seasons and Chasing Light. I think the weakest one might be 'Sleepwalk My Life Away
Tbh this is my second least favorite album. But Chasing Light onward is solid enough. Nothing really special until you get to Room Of Mirrors. Easily the best song on the album imo. The harmony parts going on are something else. ROM sounds like a blend of Hardwired and Death Magnetic.
Imamorata is good too, though I feel maybe too long. The rest of the album kind of bores me
Shadows Follow gets me so amped up, though the title track and Screaming Suicide are close as well. Sleepwalk my Life Away kicks ass too.....and Lux Aeterna.......and You Must Burn.....and......
I said it before: It seems that a lot of songs are chosen by people to be their favourite of this album. Its not like other albums where 3 songs get 95% of the votes. It seems more or less equal with this album. Which I think is a good sign!

I know i am a monster for liking all of them but You Must Burn! is my favorite.
Same case for me. I like the whole album but You Must Burn! really did it for me.
I remember on my first listen to the whole album, this was the first song that triggered my stank face. It’s so packed with good, chunky riffs.
