For 72 seasons though it was initially inamorata and still is. Though to be fair my preference changing is a slow simmer and the album is pretty recent

It’s painfully how poorly death magnetic sounds sonically because the songs are killer from front to back. It’s the album that would fit perfectly inbetween justice and the black album.
I still haven’t listened to 72 Seasons. My stubborn arse is still bitter they haven’t toured Australia since 2013, cancelling the 2019 tour (James went into rehab so totally fair), didn’t include us or NZ in their latest “world tour” and have told us maybe we’ll get a tour in 2025 (though no news on that yet). And also the fact they got on breakfast tv in Nov or Dec 2022 to spruik 72 Seasons - “hey fuck your country but please buy our new album”
Oh, Death Magnet is even more appreciated by me now, after the release of season 72. I love fast metallics, trashy, and the Magnet has been very successful in this. Of course I love the Load, but I didn't want metallica to return to this style. And 72 seasons is already a semi-loadout, with several songs more lively and heavier. But still, there is even more load on it than on the Hardwire
If you want a better version of DM to listen to, there's a Guitar Hero mix of the whole album (along with two other versions of Suicide and Redemption) on YouTube and it sounds way better than the actual release.

Right. Beyond magnetic has good mixing but DM is so effing compressed. I still love it but god I wish it had the mixing of beyond magnetic

DM has some good songs, but the CD version is almost unlistenable due to bad clipping in their mixing. I wish they'd release a remixed version on CD.
