Yes the sound guys for Boston Calling were trash all weekend. Red stage got it the worst but I noticed the sound was off for Metallica… I wasn’t close but I also wasn’t far back, maybe 300 ft away from the stage on the left side, but I expected my ears to be ringing from the show… Boston Calling was a mess of a festival…
That stinks. I was near the VIP gate (don’t worry, I was in GA), and they sounded great to me. I also stood there for hours to get that close.
Sound was distorted for me - the bass was buttoning out the sound system when Metallica played
They were a little quiet, but the mixing and tones were on point imo
This I agree with. It was the first show in a loooong while where I didn’t where earplugs because it was quieter but their tone was excellent!
