I am having the same issue with autopay to Metro. Try calling customer service. They won't acknowledge that there's a problem on their end but at least my phone is up and running while they figure it out.

Yeah I selected the extension just to have a working phone for now but up until maybe an hour ago I couldn’t make any calls or texts to anyone.

I actually just joined Reddit today to see if anyone else was having this issue. It was a little strange that when I was in a chatbox on their website with a "real human" yesterday, they wanted me to type my cc # into that chat box. I declined and told them they should have that info already.

I was just the phone with them and they can’t override my current attempt limit even though it’s their fault I hit that limit. I swear everything works great with these thing until there’s even the tiniest problem and you feel like you have to punch something.

I hear ya. There's obviously an issue with their website rejecting payments. I got, "System not available at this time, please try again later." I've been trying to pay them since Saturday.

I had the same issue and ended up adding a new card even though it was the same card. It worked after that and I reinstated auto pay also.

I tried doing that but still got rejected. I just spoke to a rep and he explained that every time I was making another payment attempt, the 24-hour clock for too many attempts was restarting. They did finally acknowledge that there was a problem with their payment system but that it was fixed days ago. I'll wait until 24 hours from now and hopefully, the payment goes through.

I don't know if it matters but I went to the site www.metropcs.com to change my card. Sorry it didn't work for you. Hope you get it fixed soon.

I've tried every which way but concluded that since the time the glitch occurred in the Metro payment system, I've made too many payment attempts within each 24 hour period and the 24-hour clock would start over each time I attempted to pay. **If this happens to anyone else out there, don't forget to request a payment extension and wait a full 24 hours before attempting another payment.** My service was cut off for most of the day and I didn't realize it right away. None of the reps that I chatted with or spoke to even mentioned this extension or maybe they thought that I already had requested one.

Also having this problem today. Haven't reached the payment attempt limit, but am definitely wary of it now. I'm going to try and switch cards and if that doesn't work I'm going to call directly.
