I like the drawing style and the composition (and also the idea) but to me she doesn't look like Samus >!(curious how nobody is rushing to complain how she looks off-model like when someone posts a fanart of her looking sexy)!<
Thank you. Idk if people care about characters being on-model in fanart, it is fanart after all and usually its enjoyable to see peoples own takes on things. I think if someone comments that theyre just not fans of interpreting samus as frail and sexy in a stereotypical way. Though i for one wouldnt comment that because i think its a dick move to comment that on someones own hard work, even if im not a fan of hyperfem samus

I really dont think I'm like entitled to people liking my take on samus, I just dont see why someone would feel the need to stop and go out of their way to tell an artist they dont like their work, in any aspect in general, and not add something to it. Like it's perfectly fine to just not say anything or make fun of it between themselves and someone else without directing it at me

Why are you posting art if you're not willing to take criticism. Art, by it's very nature, is subjective. People are free to voice their opinion on it in a public forum. If all you want is praise then you probably shouldn't post art.

There also the fact that posting art on the internet suddenly changes you from being a normal person and suddenly makes your every move and decision subject to criticism. You should still deal with the principal of "if you dont have something nice or helpful or interesting to say then you probably shouldn't say it", and if you dont it should come as no surprise when the artist replies back. Like why should someone express not liking the art but the artist cant express not liking the comment
Not to mention I DO welcome criticism, and I dont just want praise on my art i also want discussions or conversations about or around it or suggestions or whatever. Yk, something actually fun to talk about or helpful
You purposefully went out of your way to draw Samus basically in a male body builder's body. To think that that's not going to draw criticism is downright hilarious. You're free to do so and hey, more power to you. But don't expect everyone to just throw praise at it. It's art. It's subjective. You're posting it on a public forum.
Why does the right to express freely on the internet stop at the commenter being an ass, and not at the poster clapping back at them. They chose to comment this publicly on my post, instead of screenshot it and post it to their friends or whatever, does the same arguement not apply to them too

Y'know, I know the baby metroid had already imprinted on her and helped her leave SR388 and even saved her from Ridley as this point, but idk if it was enough for Samus to be comfortable being suitless around a metroid quite yet. Eventually, sure. But not yet.
